It is not super loud so it probably wake you up if you can get the sensor close enough to your bedroom to still pick up his movement if he get up to leave his room. You might consider using a drive way alert instead...it is a little louder and you can put the sensor so it beams across his bedroom door and the main unit in your bedroom next to your bed since it is wireless.

Answer:	Yes. In that it behaves just like a BlueTooth headset. So for instance, I commonly say "Ok Google... Call _____, Navigate _____, make me a sandwich" but the fancy work is being done by the phone because the microphone is passing what it hears back to the phone. So it's a question about your phone not the Radio. Android will, perhaps iPhones do not.

Answer:	It is an aftermarket radio. With the right dash installation kit and wiring harness kit this radio is compatible with any vehicle.
Question:	I wannt to know if this a detachable stereo or not
Answer:	The cover plate easily detaches. To remove the stereo you slide metal "keys" in each side to release the spring catches. It can be alittle tricky to do.
Question:	what is in the box
Answer:	Just got this 3/2018 and was surprised to see it did not include a cabled microphone for calls. It has a tiny pinhole mic on the front face of the unit. Kinda a let down because that was one of the reasons I chose it and based on these answers. It looks like they changed the mic since these 2014 answers. The wired mics are usually much better than the pinhole mics but I'll have to test it out.
