Answer:	This is a loaded question do to many people having different opinions about it. Some say the more strands allow for easier flow and less voltage drop when power consumption goes up. There are opinions all over about this topic, so I will give you what I have. I ran both positive and negative 10 awg automotive type wire, running my tower with 4 6x9 speakers and it all works just perfect. Wire run length was 17ft. The bluetooth works well but range is just about 5ft in my application.

Answer:	It is extremely important to understand Ohms law when choosing speakers. One answer on another question says it is not 2 Ohm stable. They wouldn't make the UL list if it didn't. The fifth channel is 1 channel that is 2 Ohm stable. It can handle 2 single voice coil subs wired in parralel which brings the Ohms down to 2 Ohms. I do not recommend DVC in a mono amp unless the amp is 1 Ohm Stable. If you got 2 DVC subs wired parralel would present a 1 Ohm load to your amp and blow it up.

The 12V DC to the wall plate amplifier provides power to the amplifier and to the 12V DC socket on the plate as a convenience to power 12V DC items. The signal from the antenna is amplified to improve reception for 2 TV sets. In a typical RV installation with more than 2 TV outlets, one output from the amplifier is fed to a signal splitter in order to fed the extra outlets. That splitter may be installed inside the wall behind the wall plate amplifier. CEA-2006 is a system of testing and measurement for mobile audio amplifiers. This voluntary standard advocates a uniform method for measuring an amplifier's RMS power output and signal-to-noise ratio. The criteria for measuring power uses a DC input voltage of 14.4 volts and the RMS power output is measured into a 4Ω load, with 1% or less Total Harmonic Distortion plus noise (THD+N), and over a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz (for full range amplifiers). Power Connections: The power and ground connections are 0.55" wide screw terminals. The remote turn-on screw terminal is 0.335" wide. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors are recommended. Answer:	I don't know about a 5 prong toggle switch but you definitely could with a 5-pin Bosche Relay (one with an 87a terminal). You can easily find wiring diagrams for them online, but essentially, pin-30 to the positive input to the amp, pin 87a to your accessory positive from the vehicle, pin 85 and 87 to your constant positive from the vehicle and then pin 86 to the vehicle ground with a normal toggle switch inline ... with the switch turned off, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87a ... with the switch turned on, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87

Answer:	Connect the blue wire to a power source. Ideally, the power source should be controlled by the ignition switch. This will prevent the battery from getting drained if the amp is left on. You can also connect the blue wire to the same power source as the main power lead. In this instance a on/off switch (on the blue wire) should be inserted so the unit can be turned off.

Answer:	The smell can be from the new amp warming up during use (feel the temp of the amp if you smell it again to verify). If it's smokey or smells like an electrical fire/short, I'd disconnect everything and look for arcing/burn marks. You might have a stray power line that's hitting ground intermittently. Good luck. Trouble shooting can be a pain.

High-level inputs ease installation

Compact Amplifier

The Kenwood KAC-M3004 compact Class D 4-channel amplifier is designed to boost the output and clarity of your car stereo. The amp features a conformal coating on the circuit board to protect it from moisture. This allows you to use the amp for motorcycles, marine applications, or on All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The KAC-M3004 delivers 50 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms. It also gives you 75 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms, or 150 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms bridged.

Connections

Power/Power Control Connections: The power, ground, and power control connections are 0.35" wide screw terminals. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors or ring terminals are recommended. A minimum 10-gauge wire is required for power and ground.

Power Control: The Power Control wire should be connected to the head unit's remote turn-on lead when an aftermarket unit is used. This wire does not need to be connected if you're using speaker level inputs. The Signal-sensing Turn-on feature will turn on the amplifier when an input signal is detected.

Line-Level Inputs: The amplifier is equipped with two pairs of RCA inputs for connecting stereo RCA patch cables from the head unit to the amp. If using a factory head unit, or a unit without preamp outputs, you can splice the speaker wires to an RCA plug, maintaining the same polarity.
