Question: | I have two 12" woofers with 175watts rms and 500 watts peak. would this amp be able to push it |
Answer: | I don't think so, it barely pushed one 12 in bazooka with the same specs. |
Question: | is it good for 600 watts rms |
Answer: | I don't know I have mine on 4 6 1/2's and 2 3 1/2's |
Question: | Would this be good to power one 12" subwoofer? My old amp was a Crossfire 600W |
Answer: | If the subwoofer is rated at 300 watts or less I would say yes. Generally speaking the wattage of the amp should be greater than the wattage of the speaker to sufficiently power it. |
Question: | What does speaker level input & signal sensing turn on do? I see the plug on the front of the amp |
Answer: | This is the Speaker Level Input adapter. This is only for people who will connect their amps to a factory system by splicing into your rear speaker wires. If you are using RCA cables to feed signal to your amplifier, you don't need it. Keep it in case you need to return or RMA the amplifier though. |

Question: | Is this amplifier waterproof |
Answer: | This is a loaded question do to many people having different opinions about it. Some say the more strands allow for easier flow and less voltage drop when power consumption goes up. There are opinions all over about this topic, so I will give you what I have. I ran both positive and negative 10 awg automotive type wire, running my tower with 4 6x9 speakers and it all works just perfect. Wire run length was 17ft. The bluetooth works well but range is just about 5ft in my application. |
Question: | Does it come with a volume control knob |
Answer: | Hi, yes you can connect your mobile phone using Bluetooth. You may check other details of the unit by visiting our website pyleaudio.com. Type the model number on the search box PLMRA430BT for more details. Thank you. |
Question: | Anyone try installing in a 2013-2015 Dodge Dart |
Answer: | Yes but it’s a POS |
Question: | Would I need an amp wiring kit |
Answer: | I've used these amps several times. If your referring to subwoofers, you can run a low-pass filter. Using the smaller 4 channel version of this amp, I run two 6.5" speakers from channel 1 and 2, and bridge the 3rd and 4th channels to run through a low pass filter to a subwoofer. Sounds good. |

User questions & answers
Question: | My receiver has 4 RCA outputs. Can I run the 4 RCA outputs into this amp and run 4 coaxial speakers plus a subwoofer |
Answer: | Yes you can. There is a switch on the amp and it will take the sound from channels 3 and 4, and use it for the subwoofer.. so you dont need a 5th rca cable. |
Question: | What is the RMS |
Answer: | Taken from Google: RMS stands for root mean squared. You use RMS to tell you in part how loud the speakers are going to be, you also you its sensitivity rating.RMS also tells you the most amount of watts that you speaker can handle on a continuous basis. This is the figure you use when looking for an amplifier and powering the speaker.1000w RMS is a lot and i would be very skeptical buying any speaker that says it handles 1000w RMS, most companies that put out a speaker like that inflate their numbers by making the THD level higher so once you turn it up the signal is not clear. Also they will make it 1000w RMS but its sensitivity rating is very low such as under 80db/1w.i know i have two JL subs that are rated at 300 watts RMS each and the 600 watts it puts out is enough to make me go deaf. |
Question: | I have a kicker 10" sub with 4 ohms, but when I hook it up to the amp I get absolutely no sound out of it. The first four channels are running fine |
Answer: | There is a switch near the sub control on the amp.. direct or channel 3-4. If you do not have a sub input the switch should be set to 3-4. So it will get the sound from channels 3-4. . Hope this helped |
Question: | Will this amp be suitable for 2 pairs of Pioneer TS-A6885R Speakers 350W (60W) nominal and TS-SWX251 Subwoofer Power(Nominal)800 W (200 W |
Answer: | It is extremely important to understand Ohms law when choosing speakers. One answer on another question says it is not 2 Ohm stable. They wouldn't make the UL list if it didn't. The fifth channel is 1 channel that is 2 Ohm stable. It can handle 2 single voice coil subs wired in parralel which brings the Ohms down to 2 Ohms. I do not recommend DVC in a mono amp unless the amp is 1 Ohm Stable. If you got 2 DVC subs wired parralel would present a 1 Ohm load to your amp and blow it up. |
- Mono subwoofer amplifier
- 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (1, 000 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)
- Class D amp design
- Speaker-level inputs with signal Sensing turn-on
- Variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave)

Question: | Can this amp power 3 alpine w10s4 subwoofers |
Answer: | The digital channels 30-1, 30-2, 30-3 and above are technically on the same broadcast channel. In the antenna world, the broadcast channel is not necessarily the same as the number that shows up on your TV.In Detroit, where we are 4.1 is NBC and the sub-channels 4.2 and 4.3 come along with it. However it is broadcast on a channel VHF 7 in our area. You can use websites like antennapoint.com to find out the broadcast channel, which is often referred to as an RF channel or REAL channel. This device was designed after the digital transition, and is fully capable of finding and fine tuning. |
Question: | im having a hard time findin a nice amp for my (2)15" kicker 2-ohm 1200w subs. i got acheap pyle 2000 watt amp and its not pushin nearly what i want |
Answer: | basily the pickup ability |
Question: | Will this power 4 Kenwood 5 way 6x9 speakers |
Answer: | The HD7694P measures 65" long. |
Question: | When setting the gain on my amp, do I set bass knob remote included all the way up or all the way down? (Not talking about the bass boost on the amp |
Answer: | This wall plate amplifier provides amplified antenna signal to 2 TV sets. It does not provide 12V DC to the antenna. The 12V DC to the wall plate amplifier provides power to the amplifier and to the 12V DC socket on the plate as a convenience to power 12V DC items. The signal from the antenna is amplified to improve reception for 2 TV sets. In a typical RV installation with more than 2 TV outlets, one output from the amplifier is fed to a signal splitter in order to fed the extra outlets. That splitter may be installed inside the wall behind the wall plate amplifier. If the amplifier is turned off the amplifier switches to the cable source if connected, but does not amplify the cable signal. Kenwood KAC-9106D - Reliable performer
Kenwood makes tough, rugged amplifiers that bring you superior sound quality along with reliable performance. When you power your subwoofer with Kenwood's Performance Series KAC-9106D amplifier, you'll hear all the great tonal color, impact, and detail in your music's bass, from the hard punch of the rhythm section to the soft thump of a quiet kick drum.
CEA-2006 Compliant:
CEA-2006 is a system of testing and measurement for mobile audio amplifiers. This voluntary standard advocates a uniform method for measuring an amplifier's RMS power output and signal-to-noise ratio. The criteria for measuring power uses a DC input voltage of 14.4 volts and the RMS power output is measured into a 4Ω load, with 1% or less Total Harmonic Distortion plus noise (THD+N), and over a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz (for full range amplifiers). Signal-to-Noise ratio is measured in weighted absolute decibels (dBA) at a reference of 1 watt into 4Ω. CEA-2006 standards allow consumers to compare car amplifiers and receivers under the same conditions (apples to apples). Using CEA-2006 criteria, the Kenwood KAC-9106D is rated at 500 watts RMS x 1 channel with a 76 dBA signal to noise ratio. The signal to noise ratio at the rated power output (not CEA-2006 conditions) is 100 dB.
Connections:
Power Connections: The power and ground connections are 0.55" wide screw terminals. The remote turn-on screw terminal is 0.335" wide. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors are recommended. The manual lists a minimum of 10 gauge wire for power and ground, but given the 120 amp fuse value and the current consumption specification of 65 amps, we recommend a 4 gauge wiring kit.
Speaker Outputs: There are two pair of 0.335" wide screw terminal speaker outputs; they are internally wired in parallel, making it easy to connect two subwoofers. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors are also recommended for the speaker wires.
Controls:
Gain: To accommodate the varying range of signal levels from today's factory and aftermarket radios, the KAC-9106D features an adjustable gain control, 0.2-5.0 volts line level (RCA) and 4.0-12.0 volts speaker level.
Crossover: The built-in 24 dB/octave low-pass filter has a continuously variable crossover point, 50Hz to 200Hz. Because this is a subwoofer amp, the crossover is always engaged.
Bass Boost: The bass boost is adjustable from 0-18dB at 40Hz.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I connect this to a 5 prong toggle switch? I want it to turn on even when the vehicle is off |
Answer: | I don't know about a 5 prong toggle switch but you definitely could with a 5-pin Bosche Relay (one with an 87a terminal). You can easily find wiring diagrams for them online, but essentially, pin-30 to the positive input to the amp, pin 87a to your accessory positive from the vehicle, pin 85 and 87 to your constant positive from the vehicle and then pin 86 to the vehicle ground with a normal toggle switch inline ... with the switch turned off, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87a ... with the switch turned on, the circuit runs to pin 30 through pin 87 |
Question: | How (where) do I connect the blue wire since I am using this amp without a head unit |
Answer: | Connect the blue wire to a power source. Ideally, the power source should be controlled by the ignition switch. This will prevent the battery from getting drained if the amp is left on. You can also connect the blue wire to the same power source as the main power lead. In this instance a on/off switch (on the blue wire) should be inserted so the unit can be turned off. |
Question: | If i use bluetooth, do the line out jacks work? i want to use bt with this as the main amp but run a bazooka amplified tube via the line out jacks |
Answer: | Yes because im doing the same thing on my system im using this amp for. Its a Great amp. I have it on my jet ski and can hear my speakers even at 65mph with wind noise. |
Question: | How long is the cord on the remote? Thanks |
Answer: | The cord is 10.5 ft long th the remote control head |
Question: | just installed this amp and it is producing a smell, is this normal |
Answer: | The smell can be from the new amp warming up during use (feel the temp of the amp if you smell it again to verify). If it's smokey or smells like an electrical fire/short, I'd disconnect everything and look for arcing/burn marks. You might have a stray power line that's hitting ground intermittently. Good luck. Trouble shooting can be a pain. |
Question: | can this amp push 1 1500 watt kicker 12 l |
Answer: | It can if you bridge it right, but later you'll want a much bigger amp. The bass is right for me. My Pioneer rms is 1400 watts for a 12" also. Hope this helps! |
Question: | Will this amp power two rockford fosgate 12" punch xlc 400watt speakers (200 rms |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Would this amp push a JL sub 12w6v3d4?..with no problems. Thank you in advance |
Answer: | The JL 12W6v3D4 is a dual 4 ohm voice cool. If they are wired parallel (see owner'a manual) you with have a 2 ohm subwoofer and receive the 500watts. JL recommends a 200-600 watt amp, so this amp is well within those specs. |

Kenwood KAC-M1824BT - Power your music on land or sea
Kenwood's KAC-M1824BT 4-channel amplifier will pump up your car's audio system with 45 watts RMS per channel — that's more than twice the power of most car stereos. The super-compact KAC-M1824BT will add new clarity and impact to the basic sound system of almost any kind of vehicle on land or water, and it'll fit in a lot of places when space is tight. The amp uses plastic plugs that protect its power and speaker connections, and features a conformal coated circuit board that keeps out moisture and salt, so the party won't stop just because of a little wetness.
IPX5 REMOTE CONTROL
The KAC-M1824BT remote control is designed to be mounted in places that are exposed to the elements. To operate in these conditions the remote control has a IPX-5 certification. This water resistant certification is the grade at which a device continues to function when directly subjected to 12.5 L of water per minute from all directions using a 6.3 mm inside diameter nozzle at a distance of approximately 3m for at least 3 minutes. This level of water resistance makes it perfect for ATV, Motorcycles and boats.
MULTI-APPLICATION
Many of today's powersports have very limited space to work in and tend to be a harsh environment for electronics because of the exposure to outdoor environments. KENWOOD's compact performance amplifiers are small in size so they fit even the most limited installation areas. The amplifiers also use a conformal coated main PCB (printed circuit boards) which offer extra layers of protection to help prevent moisture or damp air from damaging the product.

Product description
Many of today's power sports have very limited space to work in and tend to be a harsh environment for electronics because of the exposure to outdoor environments. Kenwood's compact performance amplifiers are small in size so they fit even the most limited installation areas. The amplifiers also use a conformal coated main pcb (printed circuit boards) which offer extra layers of protection to help prevent moisture or damp air from damaging the product. - Rms power output 2o: 75w x 4 - perfect for boats, atv's, motorcycles, cars and more - dimensions(wxhxd): 6-1/2" x 1-3/4" x 3-7/8".

Product features
Kenwood KAC-M3004 - Power your music wherever you go
Kenwood's KAC-M3004 compact 4-channel amplifier will power up the music in your vehicle with 50 watts RMS per channel. That's enough to hear everything clearly above the noise of the road, trail, or waterway as you travel along. This little powerhouse will fit almost anywhere, including a storage compartment on a boat, motorcycle, or ATV, so you can install great sound in whatever vehicle you wish. Installing a pair of subs? You can bridge this amp to 2-channel mode and send 150 watts to each subwoofer.
High-level inputs ease installation
The KAC-M3004 will accept a signal from just about any source, whether you're using RCA cables from an aftermarket receiver or speaker wires from a factory radio. When you use the speaker-level inputs, the amplifier will sense the signal and turn itself on, so you won't need to run a remote turn-on lead to your car stereo.
Compact Amplifier
The Kenwood KAC-M3004 compact Class D 4-channel amplifier is designed to boost the output and clarity of your car stereo. The amp features a conformal coating on the circuit board to protect it from moisture. This allows you to use the amp for motorcycles, marine applications, or on All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The KAC-M3004 delivers 50 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms. It also gives you 75 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms, or 150 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms bridged.
Connections
Power/Power Control Connections: The power, ground, and power control connections are 0.35" wide screw terminals. A Phillips-head or flat blade screw driver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals. Spade connectors or ring terminals are recommended. A minimum 10-gauge wire is required for power and ground.
Power Control: The Power Control wire should be connected to the head unit's remote turn-on lead when an aftermarket unit is used. This wire does not need to be connected if you're using speaker level inputs. The Signal-sensing Turn-on feature will turn on the amplifier when an input signal is detected.
Line-Level Inputs: The amplifier is equipped with two pairs of RCA inputs for connecting stereo RCA patch cables from the head unit to the amp. If using a factory head unit, or a unit without preamp outputs, you can splice the speaker wires to an RCA plug, maintaining the same polarity.
