This amp has a very cool fully adjustable 12dB/Octave crossover. What is cool about it is that our crossover supports low pass, high pass, bandpass, and subsonic. This makes our amp ideal for subwoofers (sealed and vented), full range speakers, and midrange speakers. In high pass mode we allow you to filter out frequencies between 15Hz - 4K Hz. In full mode you will not be filtering any frequencies. The really cool part is in low pass mode you can use the high pass and low pass mode. So for example you can set the low pass mode to 50 hz, and then you can set the high pass to 15 Hz. In this case you would be playing frequencies in the range of 15-50 Hz on this channel. This would be an example of using the subsonic filter. Another option you have is for midrange speakers, you can use our low pass filter and set it really high. Lets say to 150 hz. And then you can set the high pass to 3K hz and your midrange speakers will only play that frequency range. Our advanced crossover technology will allow you to really fine tune each speaker to get the sound you desire.

The other cool thing is that this amp has 3 of these crossovers. Every 2 channels has its own set of advanced filters. Answer:	Yes this amp will power your Peavy speakers. Two things though: 1. The amplifier power output is just over your rated speakers. So watch your clipping meters to avoid a speaker blowout. 2. You may not get the bass you may be looking for. Without a preamp. I use the Rockville PPA-20 ahead of the power amp. For extra umph! This amp is capable of 800 watts rms output into 4 ohms. Over just 300 watts rms into an 8 ohm load. So I use two sets (4) of Rockville SPA-1128 8 ohm subwoofers. With just 2 subwoofers one to each channel I get adequate bass. But adding the second set in parallel with the other two? I double the output and double my bass. Along with 2/4PA 2000 watt speakers on poles. I did it this way for what ever occasion I needed the extra power. In an open parking lot? It was heard 1/4 mile away!!

Answer:	I think that the 0.6 watts each measurement, 1.2 watt total must be a mistake, off by a factor of ten. I've tested them against my portable ten watt powered stereo speaker (five watts per channel). They're slightly louder than the portable speaker. I would bet money that these are six watts each, twelve watts total. I'm sorry I don't have a more sophisticated method of testing, but, no way are they just 1.2 watts total.

Answer:	This unit has four 1/4 inch mono/stereo inputs and one 1/4 inch stereo output. It does NOT have phantom power. There is a pre-amp in the unit that will power a headset or connect to an external amplifier. If your mics have 1/4 inch plugs, your set-up should work OK without additional equipment. If your mics have three-prong plugs, you might want to find a mixer that does have phantom power on at least two of the inputs (but not all). That would accommodate both instrument and vocal without more equipment or connections (which is why there are contrary remarks). Hope this helps.
