This supply current is in the control of the installer - they must use wiring, batteries, connectors, capacitors to ensure this amp is capable of being delivered between 400 and 600 amps of 14 volt DC current. When the amp starves for current it will get hot and possibly fail.



 The protection light indicates incorrect installation in most cases. In addition to input current: The output circuit must show a minimum 1 Ohm load (and no lower during use) to avoid driving the product into protection. Continuously driving the product into protection causes excessive heat, and will shorten the product’s lifespan.



 In this consumer’s case: Professional installation may be warranted to obtain correct functionality and lifespan. The product is robust and reliable when used as directed.

I don't know.....bit you can bet either way it will make it sell to a lot of people who don't know a lot or just getting into the hobby

Answer:	Wire them series/parallel at 4ohms to the bridged/mono connections 500 watts x 1 shared, those Boss subs can take a lot, but 500 is enough to create some respectable bass, and your enclosure is ported, 500 is plenty, and the 2ohms may be louder at low volumes, but 4ohms has more of a quality/clean sound, but you could always go 250x2 at 2ohms parallel with stereo sound, if you need wiring help search "dvc subwoofer wiring options" and pick one you like.

Answer:	Your sub is too big for the amp. I have generic 10inch sub rated at 1000 watts, speaker blew the amp in a couple of weeks. Spend more for a better amp.
