Answer:	I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say 500 watt amp kit. If you could provide an example of what you are talking about then I may be able to answer your question. My guess without knowing that information is that a kit for a 500 watt amp would have a fuse that was not sufficient for a larger amp.

Answer:	I had it on one power acoustik mofo 12 and it seemed like it was over powering it. I say the amp is under rated
