The 4k camcorder as a webcam
The 4k camcorder has a webcam function. Connect to your PC via USB and use it with the free software “AMCAP”, which you can use as a webcam for video calls or Livestream.
When it connects to your PC, you will see "MSDC&PC Camera" on the camera screen, select "PC Camera", and press OK to complete the setup.
Note: The driver will be automatically installed on your PC when you connect for the first time.
Also, if you use a USB hub instead of connecting it directly to the PC it will not install successfully.
Video Camera Wi-Fi Connection
How to Use Wi-Fi Connection:
1. Keep the video camera in standby mode after being turned on, long press the MENU/Wi-Fi for 3 seconds to open WIFI signal source. The camera screen displays WIFI name and password.
2. Check Wi-Fi setting on Mobile phone or Tablet, find the WIFI source name shown on camera, click to connect and input the WIFI password shown on camera.
Connecting the APP with the Video Camera:
After successful connection, users can operate the video camera through the App to browse albums and download files from the video camera to the phone or tablet for sharing, as well as remote control through App operation.
Remote Control

External Microphone

| Answer: | My premium trial subscription expired about a month ago so I thought I give the non-subscription Tablo a try. Here are my observations and opinions of the non-subscription after a month of using it. It is usable, especially if you don't do a lot of searches for new material. There is no search facility. There is no automatic time extensions of live events like football games, etc.. So, you have to manually add some estimated time in your manual record setup, very similar to the old VCR days. It does not differentiate between repeat episodes and NEW episodes, so you will sometimes end up with shows you've already seen. You can only look 24 hours into the future in the guide. I ended up using one of the online TV guide sites to see farther into the future for programming the show recordings. I find you pretty much need the online TV guide as a companion app. If you don't particularly enjoy a technical challenge of finding shows and typing in with a remote control, then this option probably is not for you. I'm more of a computer geek and find this option a little intriguing. But, for people who just want an easy, very elegant way of finding and recording shows, the premium subscription is definitely worth the money. I suspect someday I'll tire of this manual stuff and dish out the premium dollars. In the grand scheme of things, the $50 per year or $150 lifetime is a fraction of the cost of paying for cable video. Sticking with the non-subscription flavor is pretty much a case of the old English saying, Penny Wise Pound Foolish. |

The camera can support TV and Computer output
Connect to the TV:
1. Please connect the camera to your TV with the AV&USB cable.
2. Please set the TV signal source as AV and get into this mode.
3. You will find the camera screen that turning black which is normal, not the camera malfunction. And the content will be displayed on your TV screen. You need to operate the camera to display your photos/videos. (Notice: In this mode, the icons on the screen cannot be removed.)
Connect to the Computer:
1.Please turn on the camera,insert the AV＆USB Cable into the camera and computer port separately.
2.The computer will automatic install driver and the computer screen will display the driver installation is complete.
3.Please press the camera "MODE" button to choose the camera “MSDC ”mode,then open the U disk,the camera files can be seen.
Please format the sd card
The camcorder can support SD/MMC Memory Card. (4GB to 32GB, Memory Card needs to buy separately).
Warm Tips:
1. Memory card needs to be formatted for first-time use or if the card was used by other camcorder.)
2. If the camera crashes or shows a blurred screen, please format the SD card within the camera or on the computer before using it.
3. If the SD card can't be locked in the slot, which means it has not reached the correct position and you need to press deeper to make sure it is locked.
