If you have the unit in pre record mode, you can hit record, hit the mute button, then stop recording. Now you are in pre record with no audio. If you hit record in this state, it will start recording the last 30 and future without audio, until you hit the mute button again.

I had to send my unit back for a replacement, as when I tried to use it for the very first time; when charging the unit up, it started and audible blink, and then the unit got extremely hot, and then would not charge up. Answer:	I have had good luck with it. You could also hang a white or green or other drop cloth behind the black to help it with any spots that pick up different lighting spots. If windows are behind the drop cloth t makes it harder to get even lighting.

Answer:	Yes! I haven’t used my stands but maybe once since I got this. I use thumb tacks to hang mine. And I put them high enough up, to where you can’t see the tiny pin size holes from them. Or you could use black command hooks, and poke small holes in the top of the backdrop to hang that way. You’d just have to use 5-10 hooks.
