Answer:	No, this is a action camera. IP works but after recording, and nor very good. Best to plug in USB to PC and Download.

Answer:	Ideal for snorkeling, no case required. The spec says no case required up to _16_ feet (5 _meters_). I did it a lot with the maximum of 10 feet underwater (not so healthy to go deeper ;) ) _without_the_case_ and keep doing it. Always assure the cover is completely closed.I always use it at FHD (1080p) with 30 fps and anti-shock ON.

Answer:	You can buy the batteries on Amazon. Just do a search. There is a set that has two batteries and a charger for about $20. I think the brand was called Wasabi. Good deal. It's what I bought and the batteries haven't given me any problems.

Answer:	When I listen to the recorded video on the camera itself the sound seems to low, however, after downloaded the files to my computer the sound is good. (I only use this camera to record "tutoring" sessions with one student for a college requirement). It has met my needs, but I would not use this camera to record family events. I would want a better quality.

1. Insert the fully charged battery and memory card into the camera, then press the" POWER" button to turn on the camera.

2. How to format the memory card: Please press the "Mode" button to get into the "Setup" page. Choose the "Format" option and press "OK" to confirm.

3. How to switch modes: Press the "Mode" button to switch modes between "Photo/Video/Setup".

4. How to take photos: Press the "Mode" button to change to the "Photo" mode. Press the "Photo" button to take a photo.

Answer:	Yes, it has a charger that plugs into the wall.
Question:	What the frame rate
Answer:	It's under the "camera" icon after you press the Menu/Settings button. It's on the last page of the options, I believe. Be advised, though, that some of your other settings might "gray out" the digital zoom option, rendering it useless while you have those settings on. Also, while iZoom or extended zoom is available when the camera's in Intelligent Auto mode, digital zoom is not.
Question:	Is power supplied through the mic input, to operate a mic with out a battery? Or would you have to buy a mic with a built in power source
Answer:	I simply eject the SD card and insert it into my iMac, the same way I do for my Nikon and Sony cameras. I suppose you can download by cable, but that seems an unnecessary bother. The iPhotos program in your Mac also will clear your card if you want it to do so-- otherwise I suppose that you need to delete the photos or simply reformat the card. I invested in the Wasabi charger/battery deal which obviates charging the provided battery via the computer. I recommend extra batteries because some of the camera's functions such as 4K and Panorama draw heavily on your battery. I am not suggesting that the battery life is inadequate, but I like having a fully charged spare on hand.

Answer:	In order to live stream with any camera, except for mobile phones, you need a video capture device. As long as the camera has an HDMI output then you can live stream using the Video Capture Device. I do not own one of these cameras yet, but it is my understanding you can download a software to connect to and live stream with. If you want to live stream with quality then it would best to do so through a capture device.

Answer:	They send a card with the instructions it is lzxviewer a lot of people say it crashes on android but one said you have to allow the permissions on the app. I installed the app and it opens for me but I haven't tried the camera yet because I'm waiting for the BBC battery to charge

Answer:	It has a 23X zoom, very quick focus and is great in low light. It has a great auto white balance. It is a point and shoot camcorder! I use it for our church services.

Answer:	Video capture card is needed or a device that that convert hdmi or sdi to usb.
Question:	Does the sdi output 4k? i'm looking to run this to a live switcher for a 4k broadcast and i don't want to use hdmi
Answer:	I believe it does, that's why I bought mine also. But my unit arrived broken so I returned it and got a Panasonic GH5s which is far, far superior to the JVC because the JVC does very poorly in low light.
