Answer:	I've owned both the R700 & this R800 and the only difference I can find is the R800 records MP4 video only. There might be some difference in the settings, but I'm not sure of that. The R800 "seems" to be a 'little' better in low light, but not much (if any). You're getting a newer model camera. But if you already have an R700 and you are satisfied, don't waste your money.

Answer:	I don't believe camera is recommended for closer than about 5 ft.

Answer:	Yes the mic is decent. We used an external mic though because my son was far away from the boom mic.

Application Installation:

When Mobile phone or Tablet is equipped with the system of Android 2.2 or iOS 6.0 and above, it is able to search “RoadCam”applications on Google play for installation.

Switch on WIFI Connection:

1.Keep video camera in standby mode after being turned on, long press the MENU/WIFI for 3 seconds to open WIFI signal source. The camera screen displays WIFI name and password.

2.Check WIFI setting on Mobile phone or Tablet, find the WIFI source name shown on camera, click to connect and input the WIFI password shown on camera.

Connecting the APP with the camera:

When the connection is successful, users can operate the video camera through the application for previewing, browsing photo albums and downloading the files from camera to the Mobile phone or Tablet for sharing, as well as a remote control by the APP operation.

Remote Control:

The 4K video camera comes with a 2.4g wireless remote control.

The remote can control the 4K camera from any direction up to 16 feet（5 metre）without worrying about obstacles.

The camera as webcam:

The camera has a webcam function. Connect to your PC via USB and use it with the free software AMCAP, which you can use as a webcam for video calls or Livestream.

When it connects to your PC, you will see "MSDC&PC Camera" on the camera screen, select "PC Camera", and press OK to complete the setup.

Note: The driver will automatically be installed on your PC the first time you connect.

Question:	Someone mentioned that they wished they knew the sd card needed a converter... what would i need to purchase? I'm not sure what a converter is
Answer:	Some grease causes some types of rubber to breakdown and swell up. I have no issues on rubber brake parts with this, like the pin slide boots , never had an issue.
Question:	What is the recording duration
Answer:	Short answer: yes. However, in my experience it doesn't play well with slide pins that use a rubber bushing. I use this in high-heat areas like pads & shims, and a silicon-based lubricant for pins, boots, and anywhere else there's rubber.
Question:	Does this camera have nightvision
Answer:	I would not use this on the pins. If you are pulling the piston and replacing the o ring in there I would use clean brake fluid. I only use this grease between the pad and the shims. Use silicon paste on the pins as it won't soften the rubber
Question:	Will it connect to a computer as a webcam
Answer:	Only in the rear of pads where the piston presses against it. No too much

Answer:	Yes, clean everything thoroughly first. You just need a rag and some brake-clean spray. Easy.

Answer:	It's a white sticky paste.

Answer:	I have not had it negatively affect the rubber brake components. We use it on every brake job in our shop. Some brake calipers do need the rust reamed out of the bushing bore to get the guide pins to slide freely, but this of course would be the case regardless of what lube you use.

Answer:	YES! That is exactly what we use it for. Between the brake pad and caliper...absorbs vibration to avoid brake noise. We also use it on caliper brackets where pads ride and on slide pins. A lot of brake jobs with nearly zero complaints 😉

Answer:	Yes you can unscrew and install the fine adjustment clamp.

Answer:	Mine is all metal except for the locking knob. It's the real deal. I'm sure you can find a Chinese copy with more plastic parts.

Answer:	Yes, this is a silicone based material that plays nice with rubber parts. It is very thick though so I use a product called Haynes Lubri-Film just on the slider pins. I use the CRC on the brake hardware and caliper pistons. Once the CRC runs out though, I won't use it again because the tube delivery is just too much of a pain.
Question:	Will this camera zoom while recording
Answer:	Make sure all surfaces are clean before you apply. DON'T put on too much. No lubricant will last forever but I have found this product to be the best for brake parts that require a little lubrication.
