Answer:	There is no way to connect an external audio source. The only audio option is the on-board mic....which is not bad, but not something you'd want to use for most productions...especially live streaming. I suppose it would be possible to crack open the handle near the mic, disconnect the on-board mic and rig up some kind of direct connection, but I've never tried it. It's a great camera...lots of options for people like me who live in the SD/HD world. But, when it comes to recording quality audio for video productions, I have to use a separate mic and audio recorder and then sync it up with the video in post. Not fun, but it works!

Question:	Can I record while the camera is charging? If I have a portable charger, could I have the camera plugged into that and still record
Answer:	I think the answers are confusing to some. Here's the scoop. You can use an external battery pack like the one you charge your Iphone with or you can plug it into a USB port or you can use the 110v adapter with USB cable plugged in. When you do those following things the camera is running off those power sources and not your battery. And yes, you can record while plugged into those external power sources. The battery will not charge when doing that and recording but that should not be a problem. Charge your battery at home. Now start recording and when your battery gets low plug into your external battery pack or USB and keep going. I own this camera and did the experiment. I use this in my car as a dash cam and it's plugged into my cigarette lighter and it runs non stop without using the battery.

Answer:	Yes, it's a good camera in regular lighting. Can get grainy in low light. Camera is taped based so it's old format. You need an external recorded if you want digital files. Camera is HD or shoots SD. You can shoot on either tape for backup if you use an external recorder (like a Sony). I would look to newer cameras despite the fact this camera has done me well over the past 3 years. There are just newer cameras out there for just a bit more money. But tapeless is my recommendation or if you get the FX7 at a great price then it's worth it.

Answer:	I've owned both the R700 & this R800 and the only difference I can find is the R800 records MP4 video only. There might be some difference in the settings, but I'm not sure of that. The R800 "seems" to be a 'little' better in low light, but not much (if any). You're getting a newer model camera. But if you already have an R700 and you are satisfied, don't waste your money.

Answer:	HDMI out yes good pic. If you start to record it turns off hdmi out and av out.
Question:	does it have a microphone jack
Answer:	No. It should. Also the playback sound is not that good. I tried watching the ones I recorded and I turned the volume to the max. Can't barely hear it. But I still have to watch it on the big screen and see how's the sound like. The picture quality though is good and the zoom is really nice, and if you have a shaky hand, the stabilizer works pretty well.

Answer:	No warping so far (had my set since April)... but there is almost immediate loss of the porcelain coating- even with by the book care. I would suggest continuing your research. Everything sticks in these pans. The beauty of a great porcelain set is the minimal use of fats while cooking. Even with a tremendous amount of fats everything continually sticks in all of these pans.. even pasta boiling in water.
