Answer:	This camcorder has a 43mm filter thread for you to attach filters.
Question:	How much better than the
Answer:	I've owned both the R700 & this R800 and the only difference I can find is the R800 records MP4 video only. There might be some difference in the settings, but I'm not sure of that. The R800 "seems" to be a 'little' better in low light, but not much (if any). You're getting a newer model camera. But if you already have an R700 and you are satisfied, don't waste your money.

Question:	Someone mentioned that they wished they knew the sd card needed a converter... what would i need to purchase? I'm not sure what a converter is
Answer:	Some grease causes some types of rubber to breakdown and swell up. I have no issues on rubber brake parts with this, like the pin slide boots , never had an issue.
Question:	What is the recording duration
Answer:	Short answer: yes. However, in my experience it doesn't play well with slide pins that use a rubber bushing. I use this in high-heat areas like pads & shims, and a silicon-based lubricant for pins, boots, and anywhere else there's rubber.
Question:	Does this camera have nightvision
Answer:	I would not use this on the pins. If you are pulling the piston and replacing the o ring in there I would use clean brake fluid. I only use this grease between the pad and the shims. Use silicon paste on the pins as it won't soften the rubber
Question:	Will it connect to a computer as a webcam
Answer:	Only in the rear of pads where the piston presses against it. No too much

External Stereo Microphone installation:

1.Put the CR2032 button battery in the Microphone.

2.When the microphone is mounted on the camera,screw the hot shoe connector to the hot shoe holder and fasten it clockwise.when the hot shoe is occupied or used by other device,please mount the bottom standard connecting nut on the microphone tripod.

3. When you turn on the microphone,the red light will be flash then off for power saving, but the microphone is in recording working status.

4. When the red light is flashing for a long time or it always flash during use,indicates the power is very low and need to replace the battery.

5. Pickup sensitivity switch: “OFF” is for power off, “0dB” is for normal pickup status,“-10dB”is pick up sensitivity attenuation,it is suitable for short distance vocal pick up.“+20dB” is pickup sensitivity gain,it is suitable for long distance vocal pickup.

6.Please plug the 3.5mm connector cable into the microphone socket and the camera microphone socket.

Answer:	No. It should. Also the playback sound is not that good. I tried watching the ones I recorded and I turned the volume to the max. Can't barely hear it. But I still have to watch it on the big screen and see how's the sound like. The picture quality though is good and the zoom is really nice, and if you have a shaky hand, the stabilizer works pretty well.
