Answer:	With the magnet nearby its closed. When the magnet moves away, its open. (as an FYI, my ademco system can 'swap' certain zones to work NC -or- NO. These are the real-deal honewell too.

Answer:	When the switch pairs are close together, the circuit is closed. When the pair are seperated, the circuit is open. When they are attached to a security system and you close the door, the completed circuit is active and will give a "ready to arm" signal.

Answer:	You will be limited by your voltage requirements for the light. You could probably use this contact to trigger a normally open relay of say 12 - 24 volts. Then run 120 volts trough the relay to the light.

Answer:	I don't believe it will work with a dvr but it is easily downloadable. Our videos can be downloaded easily to our camera roll on ipad and immediately stored on the one drive cloud.

Answer:	Since the Safe by Swann app update to version 1.6.5 on April 12th, 2019 it really doesn't seem to work with any iphone.
Question:	What are the best phones to pair these cameras with
Answer:	Before April 12th, 2019 the iphone worked great with these cameras. Then, on April 12th Swann updated the Safe by Swann app to version 1.6.5. After that update the iphone could no longer disarm the cameras or adjust the sensitivity of the motion detectors. Today is April 22nd and Swann has still not corrected the situation. If you visit the Swann Community message boards or filter the app reviews by date on the App Store you will see the complaints about app version 1.6.5 are consistently negative after April 12th, 2019. BUYER BEWARE.

Answer:	The switches are basically low voltage, 12 or 24 volts. Not recommended for 120 volts. Also be careful of what kind of load i.e. watts. The switch did not provide wattage limits. You can put a relay in the circuit to control higher power stuff

When movement is detected, the PIR sensor sends a signal to the receiver unit from up to 100 meters away. To Avoid False Alarms:

Answer:	The motion detector is outside and the alarm is inside your house so you can hear it when someone or something passes it. Unless you want to place the alarm outside, it is pretty loud and might scare the cat off, but I dont think the alarm is waterproof like the motion sensor.

Answer:	Hello, probably it is a setting issue, look at you tube, I would look deeper in the setting. as sometime you may need to reset all the network. Sorry if it is not of great help.

Answer:	No, the motion sensor cannot pick up movement through a glass window. You should put the sensor out, the receiver can be placed inside because we use RF to transmit triggering signal from the sensor to the receiver.

Answer:	I suggest you contact Swann. I use mine outside and it doesn't continuously stream either but that is due to distance from my router. I found a good pan/tilt IP camera is by Wyze that records continuously and distance is not a factorr. And it is way cheaper. $35 and that includes an SD card! Turn off night vision and you can even record through glass! I keep mine behind my bathroom window directly on the window ledge pointing outside to cover the west side of my house.

Answer:	You are able to record up to 7 hours of video. Keep in mind this will vary depending on the settings.
Question:	Are you limited to so many hours of live streaming per month? Other brands will limit you to 2 - 4 hours per month
Answer:	I live stream my office area while im at home with no problems and I got mine over a week ago. It's definitely been more than 2-4 hours and it hasn't prompted me to put in a payment method of any sort. No warnings either. You will need to buy a Micro SD card for recording if you need though.
