Answer:	You either go to messages located in the drop down on the upper left corner on the app or while the camera is active there will be a swipe icon on the lower right which will take you to the activation site. The "free" cloud service is 7 days of video history for a month.

Answer:	yes you can, foscam has their own nvr as well, u need to see what you require. Do note that the nvrs does not come with harddisk. you might also want to consider the power extention (armcrest version) if you do not have a power outlet near the camera.

Question:	Does this model have an LED on the front of the unit that lights up when powered on
Answer:	The LED on the front is on by default, but can be turned off in the camera's settings. With it off, no visible light is given off during the day. However, the IR lights are quite visible when on. They are dim such that they don't cast a light in a dark room, but if you are looking for the camera, you'll find it.
Question:	Does the ir click when it turns on? i have an older foscam and the ir makes a loud clicking noise whenever it turns on / off
Answer:	Every camera that has an IR cut filter will click..this is normal since its mechanical...Without the IR filter the day images would have poor color...Some cameras have a schedule feature to leave the camera in night mode during specified hours which will eliminate this clicking...hikvision is one example. Question:	Can this be powered via poe? or does it need an ac power source
Answer:	This camera does not have a built in poe splitter. You can use a POE splitter as long as you can split into ethernet and micro USB. You will also need a POE port available on your router, or use a POE injector/switch.

Answer:	Depending on how loud the white noise is, it shouldn't drown out baby's cries. Our little one sleeps with music, & sometimes space-heater or white noise machine (low volume) and we have no trouble hearing her cries thru the monitor.
