Answer:	I use these mics to record in the classroom. The lecturer needs to wear the mic, but it doesn't interfere with classroom mic systems. Range is 60 feet so you do need to have the computer close to the lecturer. They do a great job, but have all seemed to break after a while. I wish they were more durable.

Answer:	If you mean would the sound come through the mic and out the AV system, I believe that it would work. I have done similar for conferences with no problem.

Answer:	The Dictaphone PowerMic II will only work in DMPE or Dragon Medical 10. I suspect that Nuance thought this microphone was so special that they could use it to force people to purchase the Dragon Medical product so they limited the programmable buttons to the medical product line and basically sacrificed sales. Having said that, in my opinion, this microphone is overprice and falls short of being ideally suited to Dragon. I recommend contacting me directly at (615) 884-4558 x1 for additional information. For example, the Philips LFH-3500 and the new Grundig SonicMic 3 include programmable buttons but are more accurate, include a number of additional perks and can be used over a distance. Answer:	I have never had any problem with keyboard noise as it is far away from the microphone. I have found it works very well.

Answer:	Yes it has a very long cord and it is the perfect headset. We currently have purchased about 12 of them in our office this year and not one has broken. We have gone through hundreds of headsets this year, but now only purchase this model because it works well for audio, speech and dragon.

Answer:	It is has dynamic microphone, so it doesn't require power. You will need to adapt XLR to whatever you Mac uses for microphone "in". Most of these items come with 1/4" stereo phone plug for the headset audio. Then some of these sets just have set wires without plugs... so you can ad whatever you need... read carefully when buy this headset.

Answer:	It's not so much a function of the headset as it is a function of the device you plug the headset into. If the device you plug the headset into allows you to monitor inputs, then you should be able to hear it in your headset just fine.
