Answer:	It does, the system itself can be "ok" for someone who is looking to install them on a not so busy at all area. I took mines down after a month because it wasn't notifying me of motion nor recording anything, also during that time had to recharge them several times. Was very disappointed, couldn't even return them.

Answer:	You can buy 16800 lithium ion batteries and replace the cells inside if needed. If you want more battery packs, a 4-pack of replacements is about $90

Answer:	They are rechargeable batteries, the length depends on the amount of times that the motion is activated. If someone is in front of the camera for a while moving around which causes the motion to activate (say around 2 hrs.) then the battery will wear down quicker, I got a couple of cameras where the battery is still on full and have been in operation for 2 months.

Answer:	Charge last very well. Obviously it depends on your setting and how much motion is in the area of view.
Question:	Can this camera continuously record, rather than strictly motion activated
Answer:	I do freelance low-voltage work including consult/install for surveillance systems. If you can find this cam with the whole system (DVR and receiver) its great. You can view the feeds by accessing your DVR via internet using their app on your smartphone (not directly cam to your phone), which is why trying to pair it directly to a phone didn’t work. Also, you can set the DVR to record continuously, re-writing over the oldest footage (again you need the whole package not just the cam as is being sold as this item), and it does use the battery more quickly as opposed to recording on motion detection only, but you can plug it in so that it continuously recharges the battery and never runs out. Hope that’s helpful. I have experience with 3 different wireless systems and this one is by far the best in terms of durability, range, and functionality.

Answer:	I've found it difficult to coordinate quad mode for anything. However, proximity of cameras to monitors is significant to proper operation! If there's too much distance it won't work the way it should! Good luck!

Answer:	So far they are operating without the need for internet connection. Signal goes directly to unit but only if kept within a certain distance.
