Not sure about the differences between e861ab-w and e861ab-e but on the Lorex site, they are out of the -e but have the -w and is states "New Product" after the -w. If I had to guess, the -w is the newer revision of the camera. Be careful about refurbished. I bought one and it lasted 3 weeks before it completely stopped working. The replacement has been going about 2 weeks so hopefully it lasts. |

The advantage of this heightened resolution, besides adding extra clarity and sharpness to the video, is that it will allow for greater digital zooms while reviewing video. This means that details deep in the distance of the video won't blur together as quickly as a digital zoom is applied simply because there are more pixels available.
Straightforward connection This analog security camera comes with a siamese coaxial cable (60ft) to connect it to a compatible DVR (not included). This single cable splits into two heads at both ends (one head is for power, the other for video). Simply connect the video cable to the DVR and the power cable to an electrical outlet. Then connect the other two ends to the corresponding connections on the camera for an easy plug-and-play installation.
