Question:	Can you replace the battery after it dies
Answer:	The battery-operated Blink cameras are shipped with two non-rechargeable AA 1.5v Lithium batteries and they’re easy to replace when the time comes. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.

Answer:	Yes, The Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras can be added to your existing Blink System. Plus, if adding Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras to an existing Blink system that has been activated on or before 4/15/20, you will be grandfathered into your current free cloud storage model in the Blink app. Systems activated after 4/15/20 will receive motion alerts and be able to enter Live View for free, with the option to access video recordings in the Blink app through a cloud storage subscription. Local Storage options are available with the Sync Module 2 and a removable USB storage drive.
Question:	Has blink removed the awful feature that limits the " live view" option to 30 seconds? there should be no limit. it stops many from buying blink
Answer:	There is a limit to the continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Currently, you are able to view up to 5 minutes at a time in 30 second intervals. After 5 minutes you would have to initiate a new live view session. We do not have any news to share regarding continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Question:	Will this camera detect outdoor motion if mounted inside, close to a window
Answer:	My daughter has installed several of these cameras in her business. She was recently broken in the middle of the night into and the camera that she had pointed directly at the glass door showed the burglar outside on the patio and they caught the break in clearly. With the help of that camera showing the door being forced and other cameras throughout the business, the alarm on her phone allowed her to call the police even before the alarm company did. They caught the would be thief within minutes.

Answer:	Nothing is 100% secure, what you need to do is balance the risk vs reward. MOST people will NEVER be hacked or have any issues.. maybe .. 1-2% will. My opinion only, I can not speak or influence anyone. If networks are secured and have passwords etc.. hacking is very rare and I have not had any issues with it so far.

Question:	How long does the battery last with one charge
Answer:	Have 5 placed outside, 3 most active get 15-25 Alerts a day. Other 2, only 3-5 a day. After 4 months 58-82% shown on battery life of 5 camera. Thought battery would discharge faster from some reviews, so got couple spares. Now just waiting to see when get below 30%, then will switch out.
Question:	Why can I not setup motion zones for alerts? (can do this with the newest indoor model) Only get a pie shaped "range." Will this problem be fixed
Answer:	I have inquired about the same issues. You can do a pie, and then exclude any of the 3 zones of the pie, but apparently, they took away the most useful functionality of their entire system. The new camera only allows the arc to go 1/2 of the view range making the usefulness limited at best. Support has reached out to try to “help” but in lieu of a software or hardware change, I’m not sure what can be done to rectify the situation short of getting a Gen 2 camera with the better controls.
Question:	If you use the camera indoors, is there a way to turn off the camera while you are home
Answer:	Two things: 1) If you plan on ONLY using it indoors, then go with the NEW cheaper $60 Ring camera. It is intended for indoor use only AND still uses the old motions zones instead of the motion arch. Plus it offers all the same benefits as this camera (except it is indoor use only). 2) I too had a similar question when I purchased the new Ring Indoor camera for $60. My solution was to purchase an Amazon Smart Plug. Then, in the Alexa app I an event to at a specific time to turn the smart plug on and a second event to turn it off. I don't need the camera on when I'm home and I wanted a way to automate the process. Answer:	Yes. I got this to watch my grandma, who lived with me, while I was away. I gave my mom the password and she was able to download the app for the camera and log in and watch her as well when I couldn’t. I also gave the info to the person I had watch her when we were both out of town so it can be used on multiple phones. They just need to download the app and have the username and password.

Answer:	No. The face of the device must be placed at the surface of the water and will measure the depth of the water. It will not measure the depth of the well from the top down to the surface of the water.

Answer:	I use mine for Ice fishing and it will shoot through a couple feet of ice but you must put a small amount of water down first. As far as reading in open water, it is gives a very quick and accurate depth but also must come in contact with the water, and I am not sure how it would work while moving.
Question:	I can't find adorcam app for android. no response from letscool support. is there another app that might be compatible
Answer:	I turn it on and it stays on till I turn it off. I have used it in many cases for 5 - hours while ice fishing. I have never had it shut down on me. It does seem to be hard on batteries.

Answer:	Yes!! It is written in the instructions you get with the unit. If you remove the front end cap you find switches. Switch number 2 controls the units. Sliding the switch back will run it in meters.
