Answer:	No, when this camera is zoomed all the way in, it will capture the width of about 10 feet at 50 yards. At 100 yards you will not see bullet holes.

Answer:	Me and 4 others could not get on the same page due to too many malfunctions of the camera. Sent it back did not give the seller a second chance because it did not work right out of the box. You pay that much you expect it to work right the first time. Had a problem getting their Tech Support to answer me also.
Question:	This is advertised as a license plate camera but on the security camera king.com site is it not. can you explain
Answer:	Changes in marketing terminology over time. New License Plate Recognition cameras are out on the market and this is not one and I often need to clarify it is not. But it is ideal for viewing longer distances and can be used for effective license plate capture for places like community gates etc due to its long range lens and easy to mount traditional bullet style on QUAD technology camera. It is a very effective camera for this type of license plate capture and features adjustable shutter speed which does help for license plate capture as well.
Question:	Will this work with a xvr running dahua software ? If so what would be the correct settings. Right now i have it set in analog mode
Answer:	Depending on the XVR it should run in CVI and or even TVI. You can adjust it through the PTZ control. If you have any issues call the tech team on the number on the email you received as well as the business card and they can help you more directly with the menu system.

Answer:	The camera has short (about 2 feet) cable with connector for video and one for power. You need to supply the long cable if you want to mount it somewhere away from the dvr as well as some type of 12v power supply. All of these cameras are like this, so it really doesnt matter which one you buy, you will have to get the wiring separately.

Question:	are these out door cameras and if the are not true poe what are they
Answer:	I'm using them out doors and they have survived a number of rains. They are supposed to meet IP66 dust and water ratings. I have some of them on TP Link (TL-SG1008PE) PoE switches and they work fine. These are PoE+ switches, so I can't verify they would work with standard PoE. I've had good luck calling the GW Security help desk.

Answer:	Problem is you accept the risk of using Ring Alarms devices not Ring. If you get a false alarm you get the bill not ring. So there QC for overpriced sensors is bad logic. You should be able to use your sensor and accept it at your own risk. Z-Wave already has standard to help with this type of issue. I am bummed because I already have high quality hidden z-wave sensor all over my house and do not want to use these huge sensors RING provides. Question:	Is it smash proof? (i.e. will still send an alarm activation if the keypad is smashed
Answer:	Yes. The alarm signal is sent through the main hub. You can smash the keypad all you want and as long as the hub is safe then it will still send the alarm activation signal.
Question:	How much is the service for professional monitoring
Answer:	Professional monitoring service from Ring is $10/month or $100/annually. This includes camera recording for 60 days for as many cameras you put on your account and also included monitoring for smoke/fire and water if you buy those additional sensors. You still have to inform your local municipality about the monitoring service and possibly pay them either a one time or yearly registration fee (your township may call it something else) which is separate from the Ring services. Both the alarm system and cameras can be enabled to record when the alarm is tripped if you don't know about that by the way. They also incorporated the panic button into the Ring app on the iPhones now too. At $279 w/ the free Echo dot its a steal. I got mine when it was not on sale for $329.00 and no Echo dot.

Answer:	I am no computer expert; the sales rep at Cambium told me the bridge in a box is “plug and play” no networking experience required (which is good for me). The rep said you could buy the individual equipment cheaper but it would require set up and the purchase of the ac power transformers. Since I have no networking experience I wanted it simple and easy so I spent the extra money on the “kit”.
