The reason it is advertised as 32GB is due to some formatting issues that customers were experiencing with some microSD cards that were over 32GB. As long as you properly format the microSD card it will work with higher capacity microSD cards.

Question:	Does this work with other brands of cameras or is it proprietary-cameras only
Answer:	It will work with various third-party brands of cameras that support TVI, CVI and other HD standards. I've been purchasing different third-party cameras and trying them with the DVR, because the bundled cameras with the system are plastic and cheap. There are a number of 2MB 1080p TVI cameras on Amazon that you can use - so far I've tested three different models and they all work -- some may need some slight configuration changes. I have also tested a 4MP TVI camera and it works as well but I am not sure the DVR will record more than 1080p so a higher res camera may not store any higher res images -- still testing. Basically, there's very little aftermarket support for this unit and I'm slowly writing my own manual trying to figure out how it works.
Question:	Will I be able to record to a cloud server
Answer:	This DVR stores way too much data to make it economical for cloud storage. However you can work around this by setting up your own local server and using the DVR's ftp ability to push data to a second "cloud." I do that and it works out well.
Question:	Can you use a solid state drive (SSD
Answer:	You probably can since any SATA drive will work, BUT I don't believe a SSD would improve performance. The bottleneck is likely with the hardware video encoding and not the disk I/O. Plus, you really want a large multi-terabyte hard drive in here, and it gets continually overwritten, so a SSD wouldn't be the best use of money and would offer to real performance advantage.

Answer:	This is the butterfly I made the same mistake! When you click on the item there is a description and in parentheses it says (butterfly chime). Keep looking at all the other ones as the company does make the hummingbird solar chimes. By the way they are only solar lights and not actual chimes!!
