Question:	Can you remove the ballhead completely? Is there a 1/4" screw that connects it
Answer:	The end can be removed and you can wash it out. Air will not circulate through it well though and the rubber seals do not hold as well wet, so until it drys you will have to use it at full length for it to be reliable. At shorter distances it could extend further if used pointed down or rotate around if the camera is off center like it would be if it was looking at you.

Answer:	With the tripod base itself fully expanded, it measures about 7 & 3/8 inches between each leg (in width) and about 9.5 inches (in width) if you have the leg expanders pushed out on each individual leg. As to a 12.9 inch iPad balancing atop with this tripod being halfway extended in length and being attached to the base, it'll definitely become top heavy and I would think have a high probability of tipping over very easily. I sat in my recliner with this tripod setup and extended it as if I were to read myself. The first thing I noticed is the ease of tipping over even with my small 7" x 4" Tablet. It "might" be ok if you never bumped it when using it such as this, but I personally wouldn't recommend it. I've used this Tripod for a while now and I really like it, but you have to babysit it when it's extended. I always keep one hand on it when using it whether it's in monopod form or tripod form. It doesn't matter if my camera is attached or something as small as my cellphone which is a Note9...I never take my hand off of it. Now, if you are using the base itself to mount the iPad directly to and setting it on tabletops/countertops, then yes. It's very sturdy and I would recommend use that way.

Answer:	The control comes with the camera when you buy the camera, you can put the remote controls just like a bracelet, the camera comes with straps also so you can adjust the control to your wrist

Answer:	If you have a Crosstour camera it comes with a small remote for video and stills.
Question:	Is this waterproof
Answer:	The telescoping selfie stick is designed to be used without the waterproof case on the camera. Use the appropriate accessories that came with your camera in order to attach it to the selfie stick. When the camera is attached to the extended selfie stick, the remote control button is used to activate the camera for a still photo or movie. This works great! You will not be able to use the selfie stick in or under water. There is an optional non-telescoping waterproof handle attachment with a wrist strap that I would strongly recommend when the camera is used in or underwater. However, the only way to take a selfie in or underwater is to hold the camera at arms length and push the button on the outside of the waterproof case. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is big ... very big. Even the 21L is not suitable for a everyday bag, unless your are 6’2 and wide. The company has issues with returns and refunds so be careful about how you use it.
