Answer:	Yes. I have the 264AT and the BBH 100 works fine on it. And it also works on other tripods (I use the BBH 100 on an older Manfrotto for my Ricoh GR; my 264AT is paired with the BBH 300 for long lenses on my D7000). My head came with two size threads 1/4"and 3/8"; the one on the head when it arrived (I think it is the 1/4" that is universal) fit the tripod thread. It did not look hard to change the if I ever need to use the 3/8" thread.

The 3 section legs adjust to 4 leg angle positions: 20, 40, 60, and 80 degrees. There is a canopy suspension loop for counterbalance weight and a 3/8 thread bonus connection for use with accessories. Answer:	I'm glad Vanguard finally switched to Arca Swiss. My Vanguard whatever-100 head is a year old and a small fraction of an inch larger than Arca Swiss. :( I replaced the clamp on my new head.

Answer:	sorry I took so long. They don't lock (with a click) but do stay open and closed by friction. Legs also adjust to varying opening degrees which is a great feature. A great buy in my view.

Answer:	Keep in mind if you get the one with the pan head that it is very hard to fit it into the case. I usually have to remove the handles to get it in.

Answer:	The Legs DO fold out further, so that you can get lower to the ground. If you want to get lower, what you can do is slide up the middle piece all the way up, it comes out. Then you can flip it upside down so that the camera is now between the 3 legs. Sure your photo will be upside down, but that's what the rotate function is for in your photo editor.
Question:	Its so confusing,whats the difference with the 263 tripod kits and tripod, does that mean for 169$ you only get the tripod head
Answer:	The trick is to look at the last (second) letter in the model number. If it ends with "T" then it's just the tripod legs. "B" stands for ball head, so if the name ends in "B" you get the tripod legs and the a ball head. "P" stands for pistol-grip head. The first letter stands for the name of the material: "A" for aluminum, "C" for carbon fiber. So if the model number is 263AB, it means that it's the aluminum tripod legs plus a ball head.

Answer:	Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB is both taller and larger than the 264AB. Both are virtually identical in weight, and have identical 7.0kg load capacities.I own both, the 263AB is a full-size (height-wise) tripod, while the 264AB is subtly more compact, which is noticeable when you set them up side-by-side. If you are of average height you may find you do not need to extend the center column with the 263AB very often, while you will probably need to extend the center column on the shorter 264AB most of the time. This technically affects stability, but the ~4" of extension is generally not significant for casual use. Answer:	Mine does. It is marked "QS-60 v2". Attaches to camera (or whatever) with a standard 1/4-20 threaded stud. Fits my Arca-style hardware. Incidentally, this is a head/grip seemingly designed by, and certainly for, photographers. All the adjustments and locks one might need in the field. Very well manufactured and finished. Reminds me of the quality of photo hardware we used to get from Europe in the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

Answer:	I do not know for sure, but this pistol grip (tripod head), screws into the base of a DLSR where you would screw in a tripod--same spot, same screw hole. The pistol grip does not control your camera other than as a pointing/tripod sense. It does not control any functions of your camera.

Question:	Too heavy? When using the center column at an angle, my Sony a7 w/ 55mm lens weighs it down
Answer:	The center column is not meant to be used at an angle on this model. The only reason it pivots is to allow the center column to reverse and save some space with the head in between the legs when everything is folded down. If you want a tripod with a center column that you can use at an angle, try one of the Vanguard Alta Pro models which has this feature. I also use a Manfrotto 055 model which has a center column which works at an angle.
