Answer:	I am 6 feet and it is fine as a travel fill in tripod. Purchased for a trip to Scotland and it fit in my carry on. Answer:	Yes. It is very strong.If you are going to be shooting a time exposure outside， I highly recommend using the bag hook to secure your heavy camera bag or some sort of weight to hold it down. But it doesn't fit the heavy lens.

Answer:	I would doubt it. While this is a solid, stable and well built tripod, it is intended for cameras not crossbows. So unless your crossbow has a standard camera mount on it I wouldn't think this would work so well for your purposes.

Answer:	We are using it for heavy binoculars. Be aware that the tripod head is a camera mount and not as stable as a binocular mount. However, I like that ability to swivel the binoculars freely. The connection is secure and I carry the tripod on my shoulder with the binoculars attached.

I love this feature. I am able to quickly extend the legs and retract and not have to trust that I have it screwed to tighten the legs. The screw type, has failed me numerous times. I like to see that it's closed so the legs do not retract when I stand the tripod back up.
