Answer:	I've had these types of problems frequently with many other products. I began to realize that the problem is a little like a 'calcium buildup.' So, I use products like 'CLR' to clear out the nozzle. I soak the nozzle in hot water and a portion of CLR (maybe 1:20 ratio of water) overnight. This tends to get the nozzles to work again.

It will present live preview in 1080p...but, if you're in 4K mode, it can NOT perform Live Preview from the Panasonic G7 [ when the G7 is in Internal record mode]...but it is not this products fault. The G7's HDMI output is designed to go blank (or Black/Blue Screen) when in 4K record mode. S0, this monitor will give you a great view for framing your video shots and when you're not recording internally to the camera...but once you push the record button the (all) monitors go blank. I know this sucks but blame Panasonic for this crazi-ness, Every monitor that I have works with my G7...until I push record??? At first I assumed that something was wrong with the HDMI cables, the monitor...but after using over 5 different brands of monitors {including this one} I figured out that with all the bragging Panasonic does about it's products, they seem to forget to tell us the things they intentionally deleted from (or left out) the OS systems of some cameras. I guess they want us to fork out more money for a GH4 or GH5 which this monitor works perfectly with even in 4K modes and does present Live Preview while recording internally. The only work around I have found is to use a much more expensive Atomos Recordable monitor ( I have the Ninja V, and the Ninja Inferno) these monitors record 4K directly from the G7 with a better codec than the internal codecs in camera and you never have to go into (the cameras internal) record mode, you just record a clean 4K signal from the HDMI out into the Atomos device. To my surprise the G7 does send a Clean 4K, 24p {10-Bit!} signal over HDMI...which is also something I couldn't find in the Panasonic specks concerning the G7 camera. ...Long answer I know, but I hope this better answers your question about how monitors respond to Panasonic's G7 in 4K record mode.

The Peaking Filter is used to aid the camera operator in obtaining the sharpest possible picture. When activated, the internal processor will display a colored highlight on the screen where sharp edges appear. You can switch the putline color between red, green, blue according to different tone of the subject.
