Answer:	Yes it works with mounted slides. Aren't all slides mounted? However the slider mechanism jams regularly and has to be pulled out of the ION and you have to fiddle with it to get the slides to go through.

Answer:	No...It is not compatible. Canon never released driver for the scanner after Windows XP. However, several people were able to use the scanner on Windows 7 with some tweaks. Search Google with ""How to install a CanoScan N650U scanner on Vista or Windows 7". It will show you a page that has description on how to use this scanner on Windows 7 using Windows XP based drivers.
Question:	Is it MAC compatible
Answer:	I think it's incompatible with everything by now. It was such a good scanner for me, but I've been unable to use after installing Windows 8. But I can't really say anything about MAC. Sorry.

Answer:	Hi! If you're referring to the scanning area, your CanoScan N650U can accommodate a maximum document size of 8.5" x 11.7". We hope this helps!

Answer:	While the scanner worked, I used it for scanning older negatives (as in my in-laws negatives from photos taken in the 60's) as well as mounted slides and it did a decent (albeit slow) job. Since that scanner died, I replaced it with an Epson Perfection 4490 flatbed scanner which does a better job and has continued to perform well for more than six years.
Question:	What is the largest negative size this scanner can handle
Answer:	I did a search of the Canon site and found this: "Built for film The film guide of the 4200F can take up to four frames of 35mm negatives, or two mounted slide transparencies. It is built into the FAU, which saves the frustration of the guide ever being misplaced. The robust guide design allows easy, uncomplicated and quick insertion and removal of transparencies." Also not sure if updated software for this model is available from Canan: "Compatibility The 4200F is compatible with Windows XP Professional, XP Home Edition, XP Media Center Edition 2004, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows Me and Windows 98." Hope this helps and sorry for my first answer because I have never used my 4200F for negatives.

Answer:	Never used my scanner for that. The Canon 8400F scanner is very good. The updated version is even better. Technically you scan anything!

Answer:	The CanoScan D1250U2F scanner I recently got was in factory-new condition and came with all the original accessories, including software on 2 CDs. One CD contains the driver software plus ScanGear Toolbox (scanning utility programs), Canon PhotoRecord (for printing photos), ArcSoft PhotoBase (photo album), and ScanSoft OmniPage Pro (OCR program to convert scanned text into machine-encoded text). The other CD contains Adobe Photoshop Elements (image editing). However, if you get a used scanner, it may come with only one or neither of these CDs; so, you should check with the seller to find out about this. I haven't checked whether the driver for this scanner can still be downloaded from the Canon website or elsewhere, but if it's no longer available for download, then you probably need to be sure you get this scanner with at least the driver CD.

Answer:	Yes and possibly no - an x-ray is simply a negative. Although this scanner scans negatives, and color film, you will want to verify with Canon if you can choose the negative setting for scanning outside of the standard negative/film cartridge the fits in a specific area of the scanner. I no longer have this device as it is not compliant with Windows 7, 64-bit.

Answer:	Melissa Nelson, the CanoScan 9950F can scan documents up 8.5 x 11.7".

Answer:	Maximum supported document size is 8.5 in x 11.7 in. To scan 11" x 17" in one pass, you would need a large format scanner, and I am not aware of a Canon photo scanner in that form factor. However, Epson manufacturers them... in the Expression series (e.g. 10000XL). Hope this helps... :)
Question:	I need the 24 volt AC power cord, which was lost
Answer:	Canon (who I'll probably will boycot 100% from now on) even refuses to tell you the supply connections! From measurements I can tell that it needs 24V on (at least) top left pin and ground on the bottom two. A "standard" supply with +24V on both top pins is verified to work. Why Canon has suddenly decided to REMOVE win 10 driver support is a riddle for me. Perhaps they think the business is "to good" and just want to get rid of some of their steady customers?!? Hopefully Nikon, Sony and Epson will be more sensible... ;-)

Answer:	The instruction manual will state the operating temperature limit. I have used mine during the summer for hours at a time and only occasionally had it overheat as it is on the windshield. I let it cool for awhile and it would work again; sometimes I had to disconnect the power cord and let the battery drain to shut it off. Simple rule of thumb for electronics for operating temp: if its too hot for you, electronics will not function properly. Mine is now just over two years old and still working.

Question:	Is there a way to get the videos to play in shuffle mode with pictures? Or to stop the screen from turning off
Answer:	The digital photo frame does not allow the pictures to shuffle only show them as a slideshow. In answering your question about stopping the screen from turning off, I did not have a problem with either of the two frames I purchased. I would suggest you contact the company's customer support and see if they can assist you in resolving this issue. If they can't, then I would return the item as it might be defective.

Why we don't put the internal storage?

Internal storage will lower the speed when you display photos, it will conflict with outside service

Notice about auto-rotate function:

Please understand that there are some black borders if you choose this function, just like even if you see the photos on your computer, it is the same situation. When you choose full-screen display mode, this kind of photo will be enlarged without shape viewing.

It is not the problem of the frame if your photos won't auto rotated, please send the files to customer center service to check the issue of the file.

Not all formats support auto-rotated functions.

2. Why is my photo distorted? - Answer: Please set the photo size to the original size in the settings.

3. Is it a wifi digital picture frame? - Answer: No, it doesn’t support wifi.

Answer:	No, the frame automatically memorize what you set up last time.

Answer:	Hi, friend, you don't have to reduce the image size. Select "Setup" - "Photo Ratio" - to choose "Original Size" to make the photo display in original size, and it has auto-rotate function, so you don;t have to worry about the photo direction.

Question:	If I wish to orient the frame vertically, will the frame rotate the pics automatically, or should I flip all the pictures on the card
Answer:	This frame can not rotate the pics automatically. You should flip on the card in computer.
Question:	Do my photos need to be a smaller size or does the frame automatically resize them
Answer:	The resolution of the photo frame display is 1024x768; Photos larger than 1024x768 are just displayed 1024x768. Photos below 1024x768 are displayed the real resolution.
Question:	What is the CR-2 battery needed for if it is plugged in
Answer:	The CR-2 battery is only for the remote control. The digital photo frame must be plugged in.
Question:	Does this have a mode where my pictures will be shown in random mode, not in the same order all of the time
Answer:	Yes, You can choose the cycle mode:Sequence,Random or Repeat all in menu.
