Answer:	I've owned both the R700 & this R800 and the only difference I can find is the R800 records MP4 video only. There might be some difference in the settings, but I'm not sure of that. The R800 "seems" to be a 'little' better in low light, but not much (if any). You're getting a newer model camera. But if you already have an R700 and you are satisfied, don't waste your money.

Question:	Can I record while the camera is charging? If I have a portable charger, could I have the camera plugged into that and still record
Answer:	I think the answers are confusing to some. Here's the scoop. You can use an external battery pack like the one you charge your Iphone with or you can plug it into a USB port or you can use the 110v adapter with USB cable plugged in. When you do those following things the camera is running off those power sources and not your battery. And yes, you can record while plugged into those external power sources. The battery will not charge when doing that and recording but that should not be a problem. Charge your battery at home. Now start recording and when your battery gets low plug into your external battery pack or USB and keep going. I own this camera and did the experiment. I use this in my car as a dash cam and it's plugged into my cigarette lighter and it runs non stop without using the battery.

Answer:	i have used video camera while charging. the battery that comes with, only last a (total) of 1 hour, strongly suggest larger battery or battery charger. i carry extra battery charger with me.

Answer:	The Sony 32GB microSDHC/SDXC High speed Memory Card that comes with this set, is a "micro card" and works just fine in this video camera. If you have a device that downloads the regular size SDHC cards, you can get a "sleeve" that will accept the micro cards so you can use it to download to the computer. Either way, the micro card only works with the Sony HD Video Recording camcorder. Found no problem with this type of micro card and the quality of the pictures or video is great.
Question:	Is there a 1/8-inch sound cord input for improved sound? Does it override the camera's microphone
Answer:	I don't know the answer to your question. It does give good picture and sound quality when played back. Had to go online to helpguide.sony.net/cam to get the answer to how to playback as the pamphlet provided wasn't very clear. Sorry, couldn't be of more help!!
Question:	Does it work well in low light
Answer:	It works decently from what we can tell so far. But a strong warning if you are considering buying from Focus Camera...DON'T!!! We had to repurchase the camera from Best Buy because Focus Camera sent a package with the accessories but NO CAMERA. They have refused to give us our money back. And Amazon refused to step in and help either. $200 gone, just like that. I would suggest going to your local electronics store and asking if they will price match.

Answer:	When I listen to the recorded video on the camera itself the sound seems to low, however, after downloaded the files to my computer the sound is good. (I only use this camera to record "tutoring" sessions with one student for a college requirement). It has met my needs, but I would not use this camera to record family events. I would want a better quality.

Answer:	I stack the Frying pans but not the sauce pans. With all non stick surfaces you have to be careful not to bang them together. But I love the pans , as long as you don't go above Medium flame it stays non-stick . But they have better heat, it distributes the heat better than other pans.

Answer:	Do not put these in the dishwasher, or use metal utensils and the non stick should last the lifetime of the pans, and yes you use high heat to boil water

Answer:	The hole for the box has to be 12 in. But the box size actually depends on how much room u have in the vehicle. Also if u have room the bigger box will have more room to vibrate and will have louder sound. And for sealed or vented it all depends on the type of sound quality. The vented will give you a more louder and thunderous hit while the sealed will be quieter but it wil be more cleaner and goes with the music better. I prefer vented but i prefer the louder noise hope i helped.

• 1. Please mount the microphone on the camcorder hot shoe position, insert the 3.5mm mic interface cable into the camcorder by the 1 to 2 mini USB/MIC adapter.
• 2. The external microphone switch: "OFF" is for power off(unable to pickup sound), "0dB" is for normal pickup, "+10dB" is for sensitivity enhancement pickup, it is suitable for long distance pickup.

Question:	How long does the battery life last, using AA's compared to compared to camera batteries
Answer:	Depends on how long you let it sit idle. I tried to use it yesterday and 8 bucks worth of Lithium AA cells were all dead. It was turned off (it even clicks off). But it was still using the batteries. So to confirm, I measured the current with it firmly in the off position. It draws a constant 5mA drain with it off. From now on, I'll pull out one battery when I'm not using it. Kinda a pain - especially since the brightness dial has a click-off position which means they should have used that to disconnect the battery !

Answer:	Best I can offer is this lil' trick: I have 3 units. I went to Dick's Sports and bought a $9 hand gun case. It's got padding in it, it's plastic, and it's the right size for a few of these. It fits three units plus batteries and 5/8" to coldshoe adapters for each (so I can place on stands). I'm sure there's cases like this on here on Amazon. I consider these a poor man's pelican but be clear that while protective they are no pelican case. I hope this helps.
