Answer:	I bought the Canon G7X in 2015 because I wanted a point and shoot that was good in low light situations. The ISO goes up to 12800. The G7X is wonderful! I've used it in concerts and also numerous times for shows in the main theatre on cruises. My friends told me I couldn't take photos as flash was not allowed-no problem with my camera. Photos turned out great! There are newer versions now to the G7X. I've been happy with mine-worth the money.

Answer:	Measurement in feet. You will not go wrong if you purchase this lens. I love it! The clarity is excellent. It takes a while to get the focus exact, but once you work with the lens you will not know how you did not buy this sooner.

Answer:	Closest focusing distance is 0.85m or 2.8 ft. for the 85mm f/1.8 and the closest focusing distance for the 50mm f/1.8 is 1.15 ft. or 0.35m. Depends on your style of shooting but the 85mm f/1.8 it's better for portrait.

Answer:	This is one of my favorite primes that I own. It not only has a really nice bokeh, and great contrast and color rendering. But it also has a very flattering perspective. It also makes most peoples faces look a bit better. Something about 85mm makes the face a little skinnier, while also compressing the area that is in focus a bit. It's heavier than most other 'Ultrasonic' EF primes. But this just makes it balance well on a 5D, 6D or 7D. Until you step up to L series you will have to deal with a bit of chromatic aberation and vignetting. Though that is a simple task if shooting raw. The 50mm is a bit more natural perspective compared to 85. But you also have to get right up on a subject with it. The 85 lets you get a similar shot from a few more feet away, which makes the subject more comfortable.

Answer:	Panoramic shooting is not mentioned in the manual, and there does not appear to be a selection in the camera's functions to achieve it. You can probably still get that result with third-party external software on a PC by taking the sequence of shots to stitch together, but Canon does not provide it.

Amazon says screen is 5". Unless my visual capabilities are way off. No way it's 5" ... maybe 3

Answer:	Yes EF-S works on it. Putting an EF-S lens on means it’s no longer full frame though. It will automatically crop in 1.6x (from full frame, so it will still feel like the 35 you’re used to). Doable, but far from optimal performance of the EOS R’s sensor.

Question:	Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer:	I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.

Answer:	I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.

Answer:	Does this camera come with a charger? It says it comes with a rechargeable battery but it isn’t saying anything about a charger. And from looking at other people’s comments I’m thinking it doesn’t come with a charger. So if not then what are you suppose to do cause it’s not regular batteries it’s the rectangle flat battery

Answer:	There is no external microphone port. However, the microphone located on top of the camera is much larger than on typical cameras, including higher-end models and I believe it is sufficient for this camera's capabilities.

Answer:	Remove and out in charger. I bought an extra battery. Charged one in the camera. The one that I used today in the charger overnight. Alway take the spare one with me

Answer:	I took my new SX730 to The Who concert we attended in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and the camera did great. I got some fantastic pictures. Put it on LOW LIGHT HANDHELD SCENE. I'd post a few pics I took here, but there's no place to do it. I highly recommend it.
