Question:	Is this made in the USA
Answer:	The scanning bed/glass area will not handle 8 1/2 x 14" paper but the auto document feeder used with scanning function will. Instead of laying document on the glass, put the document to be scanned in the document feeder and start scanning. If item to be scanned is rigid or too thick it will not feed through the document feeder and you would not be able to scan it that way. Alternative might be to scan upper and lower halves in two scans and cut/paste into a full size document where you had set the paper size to 8 1/2 x 14" before cut and paste. If there are a lot of 8 1/2 x 14" pages to be scanned you would use the document feeder anyway.

Answer:	This is a sound interface. All you need is sound drivers. There is no supplemental software.

Answer:	What you can't do is record the next track at 24-bit/96kHz. That is you can record up to 12 tracks all at once at 24-bit/96kHz but then if you wanted to add another track to it while monitoring the first recording it has to be at 46kHz which is sub CD quality.
