Answer:	Not only is a memory card necessary, but also check for the quality setting you have for your photos. More detailed equals larger file and the fewer photos you can take because it takes up more space on your memory card. 640x480 is pretty standard for casual shots; a little larger for special shots. Also, use a larger capacity memory card; 2gb won't take nearly as many as 8gb or 16gb etc.

Measure Actual & Horizontal Distances, Heights, Angles and More

Forestry Pro II measurement functionality includes the ability to remotely measure actual distance; horizontal distance; height; angle and both the difference in height between two targets (vertical separation) and three-points measurements (the height between two points). Distances can be displayed in feet, yards or meters.

Actual Distance Mode

Measures the actual distance to the subject in Yards, Meters or Feet.

Horizontal Distance Mode

Calculates the equivalent Horizontal Distance to the subject by adjusting for slope/angle.

Height Mode

Calculates the height of an object such as a tree or utility transmission pole.

Angle Mode

Calculates the angle from the measurement point to the top or bottom of a subject.

2-Points Measurement Mode

The two-points measurement function can be used to measure the height of a tree or utility pole when both the top and base are visible. Simply aim at the top of the subject and press the button to measure, then do the same at the base and the height between the two points will be displayed.

3-Points Measurement Mode

If the top/merchantable height and/or base of the tree or structure is not visible, three-points measurement mode calculates the horizontal distance to the tree, then measures the angles to the top and base to calculate the height between the two points.

1st Target Priority Mode

First Target Priority displays the distance of the closest subject, which is useful when targeting a tree in front of a forest background.

Distant Target Priority Mode

Distant Target Priority displays the distance of the farthest subject, which is useful when targeting a tree deep in the forest.
