Answer:	I would say yes. Being made in China, it has a wire size of 2xo.8mm2 that last number is squared. But next to some genuine 18 AWG monster speaker wire, it looks to be the same size.

As long as the load current is less than current carrying capability of the conductor (a function of the type of conductor metal and wire gauge), it should work perfectly. Question:	what would happen if you run 19.5v through these connectors ? would it last
Answer:	The voltage is less important than the amperage. 19.5 volts would be fine. I assume you are wiring part of a solar array assembly or installation? The amperage should be no more than 10 amps in any circuit that these would be connected to. To find amperage, divide your watts by your voltage.
Question:	Is the tip positive or negative on these.. ie Red to tip.. Black to barrel
Answer:	It really only matters that you try to consistently understand and implement and remember what way the socket is wired up. So what's Define the elements here. The male end has a tip and a shaft the female end has a center and a barrel. If you wire up your device with the red lead on positive and the black lead on negative regardless of whether or not the lead is male or female you will end up with the center or tip being positive and the shaft or Barrel being . However if you need the reverse effect meaning you require the center negative then you must hook up the black wire to the positive lead on your circuit and the red wire to the negative so that the socket now is no longer Center positive but instead is Center negative.
Question:	Would these handle 48volts at 1 amp. What about 2amp. 50 - 100 watts
Answer:	I wouldn't go past 5A, so the 1 to 4A range I feel would be safe. Remember that working at a higher voltage requires less amperage for the same amount of work. so what would be approximately guessing 1A at 48V would most likely be 4A at 12V assuming the device supported a wide voltage range. The only thing I don't like about the jack connectors is the tendency for the Jack to not make good contact which increases the resistance, I had to bend the pin gently to make contact with most of my stuff. I'm using 5Ah batteries and fusing at 5A and decided that 18 gauge worked out to be about 5A ampacity.

Answer:	I use this cable with an Olympus OMD-EM-1. The correct cable for that camera is a USB6. From the Olympus website, " The USB8 cable can be used with any camera that uses the USB6 cable. However using the USB6 on cameras that come with the USB8 cable is not recommended due to the higher power output of the cable." This cable works fine with my EM-1.
