The 55-250mm has IS, better image quality, faster and smoother focus, sharper at all zoom ranges, and a few other minor advantages like rear element focusing (front of lens doesn't rotate). Best of all, it will fit your camera! And while the 75-300mm is considered the worst lens in the Canon lineup, the 55-250mm is considered the best telephoto for under a grand. If the IS STM is a little too expensive, then the older model, the IS II is still a decent lens as well, for a little more than the 75-300mm. Answer:	The top bit (the rectangle with Sony on it) slides down, revealing the lens. I wouldn't buy it, though - I'm one of several users (suggesting there's a design fault) reporting that it vibrates uncontrollably - a really stupid flaw as it makes your pictures blurry. Got rid of it years ago.

Question:	How to open the lens
Answer:	I am not an electrician. But if you have something wrong with your cable, for example if it has a short, an isolation transformer will not have any affect on the short - you will still have a short and most likely an unsafe situation, depending on the circuits involved. The only thing that an isolation transformer will do is "isolate" whatever you plug in to it from the Main ground wires of your house - it will not necessarily make safe the circuit(s) of your appliance safe. "Safety first." I would replace the heating cable, in spite of the work and cost that may be involved - you don't want to put your house and family in any unnecessary danger of electrical fire. I say this not knowing the whole picture of the wiring involved.

Answer:	There is no fan, there are 4 outlets on the back. It does sometimes humm a little- it seems to depend on whats plugged in. The humm is not noticable if you are a few feet away. It does not like things that draw a lot of current. I put a refrigerator on it and the refrigerator would shut down. I have an ultrasound machine that wont turn on when plugged in.

Answer:	The paperwork for the transformer (BTW, there are two of them) was lost when the business closed. I looked over the surface and could not find a manufacturing label. These were purchased in late 2016 for the 2017 CES show in Las Vegas. They have only been used for, at maximum, a few hundred hours.

Answer:	The case cover is held on by ten screws, 5 on each side.

Answer:	Where I live the modern line transmission is 126 volts; so 500/126=3.96 amps

Answer:	Unfortunately the answer to your question is maybe this possibly could help but not a guarantee. Ground loops are common and could be caused by potential differences in your home wiring, e.g. between outlets - an isolation transformer of sufficient wattage to allow all your devices to be plugged into it will likely eliminate this type of ground loop. However, if your ground loop is caused by a potential differences between devices, e.g. say a turntable and an AV receiver, the isolation transformer will likely not fix that problem since it occurs downstream of the transformer. Its best you do some testing to determine where the ground loop is occurring, by unplugging one device at a time to see if that eliminates the ground loop. If you google noise elimination you'll find plenty of more detailed procedures how to identify where a ground loop is occurring. The isolation transformer will provide excellent surge protection and clean power to all the downstream devices plugged into it.
Question:	Did anyone connect this transformer to a hospital grade IG receptacle? Is the wiring any different than wiring a regular 3-prone receptacle
Answer:	Yes for this model, unlike other models where you had to open the box and remove the jumper.

That could be a ground loop-related issue (in which case this will probably work) but it could also be some sort of induced noise issue (in which case this certainly won't work). We do accept returns for any reason, so you're welcome to try it, see if it works for you, and return it if it doesn't.

Answer:	This works with an rca cable which sends the signal from the source. If they are 2 rca cables you could eliminate 1 and use this. If you have 2 cables, and they are l/r speaker wires, you would need to convert the speaker wires to rca.

Answer:	Yes, unfortunately, you probably need to do two, one for each RCA connection.

Answer:	I haven't ever seen one of the $10 units you mention so can't say specifically how it may differ from another unit, but our supplier who manufactures these in California (Energy Transformation Systems) is known for high-quality audio and video transformers and the frequency response on this is nice and level. We don't use gold plate on the jacks as ETS doesn't generally use gold and there really is not, contrary to common perception, a performance advantage in it. Plating on connectors is generally chosen for durability (important) and conductivity (less important) -- you want it to endure multiple insertions and removals. Nickel plating, as is used here, is very hard and durable. The "advantage" of gold, so far as it goes, is that gold is more conductive -- but the plating thickness on a connector is millionths of an inch, and so the difference in contact resistance between a higher-conductivity metal and a lower-conductivity metal is minuscule and meaningless, especially in a high-impedance circuit like line-level audio where considerations like capacitance and shield effectiveness are much more important than resistance. Question:	I am considering selling my sony rx100m3 and buying a panasonic zs100. is this a mistake and does anybody have any problems with their zs
Answer:	I Love the Camera and functions when it works. I did get the 3 year warranty and had to replace it after about 13 months. Last month the camera stopped again with a focus issue, I sent it in for warranty service again and this time was told the camera would not be fixed because it was damaged. The ring had a slight spot where it was hit about 6 month ago but no more than wear and tear. Panasonic declined to honor their Warranty, so if you use a camera a lot and put it in your pocket I would not recommend a Panasonic camera.

Answer:	I bought the Canon G7X in 2015 because I wanted a point and shoot that was good in low light situations. The ISO goes up to 12800. The G7X is wonderful! I've used it in concerts and also numerous times for shows in the main theatre on cruises. My friends told me I couldn't take photos as flash was not allowed-no problem with my camera. Photos turned out great! There are newer versions now to the G7X. I've been happy with mine-worth the money.
