Answer:	Lorex advertises this camera supports Onvif Profile S. You should be able to add the camera to any Onvif compatible NVR. I do not know if Reolink does that. When cross checking see if Reolink supports Dahua Cameras as this is a rebranded (minus some features like micro-flash card back-up) but at a very reasonable price. My experience is that this is an excellent camera in all situations except very low light, where the 2mp starlight cameras are still recommended.

Setting up the cameras so they do exactly what you want (configuring network parameters, configuring camera parameters, record always vs record only on motion events, etc.) is not trivial and takes a lot of internet research and trial & error. Additionally, most good IP Cameras these days will allow you to internally install an SD card that you can simultaneously record to. The images on such a card are not easily accessible without an NVR, although you can use a computer to connect to the camera's website together with a browser plugin to view recordings on the card. I don't like the browser plugins because they typically are not 'signed' and so I don't trust them for computer security reasons. In an emergency, such as after a break-in, you can always disassemble the camera, take out the SD card and insert it into a computer. Research any camera you are considering on the manufacturers' website, and do enough research to understand all of the details before you buy.
