Question:	What would happen if my little nephew was to move the telescope to view something else while the motor is engaged
Answer:	He won't be able to move the telescope along the right ascension. It would have no effect on the declination. If he were to force it in the RA direction, it might break the motor, or the set screw could slip. In the case of the latter, no serious damage.
Question:	Whats the difference between the dual axis and the single axis? Also, what else would i need to make my telescope automatic
Answer:	This drive is for an Orion Astroview equatorial mount. It motorizes a single axis, the Right Ascension Axis. A dual axis drive would also motorize the Declination Axis. For casual viewing, once the mount is properly aligned, using the Single Axis Drive will make the telescope follow a selected deep space object or star as it moves through the sky, automatically. For a fully "automatic" telescope, you may want to look at an EQ or Alt/Az mount with a computerized control. This would allow you to use a controller to select the object you wish to look at, and the telescope would move automatically to a position to view the object. Question:	this says there is a External disengage , how does this work , is there a switch or lever
Answer:	I will add to Orion's response. This is a right ascension drive only. There is no manual clutch to engage/disengage the drive motor from the mount's RA drive shaft. The motor is fixed to the drive shaft with a flexible coupler, tightened with setscrews. For a course alignment to target, you disengage the RA ring gear from the RA axis using the mount's own RA lock lever. Along with the mount's own declination lock lever, this method is very easy to center a target within a finder scope field of view. Then, after locking the axis levers, the 8X speed control will quickly center a target within an eyepiece field of view. The D cell batteries last a long time. In my opinion, this is an excellent addition to a Celesctron CG4 mount - for ease of use, to keep the weight down, and still benefit from tracking.

Answer:	No, mine has exactly 9 inches from the bottom rim on the hook to the top of the first black connector.

Answer:	I haven't tossed it in the drink yet but it is a hollow expandable aluminum tube. It should float for a while. I doubt that the plastic connection points and end pieces are really water tight, so it may fill up with water and sink eventually.

1.Hold the telescope tube with your right hand.

2.Turn the Focus Ring with your right hand until you can see the clear scene with a circular field of view.

3.You can adjust the Adjustable Eye Cup if the field of view is too small.

②How to install the Telescope with Smartphone



1.Install the phone clip first.

2.Align the middle of the phone clip with the phone lens, and expose the phone lens to the middle of the phone holder(Focus to the camera hole and tighten up the screws)

3.Set the phone camera clip to the eyepiece of the telescope then adjust to the clearest point.



Tips:please zoom in and lengthen the screen of the phone when taking a photo and the vignetting will disappear.

Answer:	All stethoscopes can be used in veterinary medicine. You just have to consistently use it so you start being able to identify the different sounds. I've used several different stethoscopes in my career. All have goods and bads. The cardiac scopes are great for lower frequency sounds, such as heart beats, but not so great for higher frequency sounds like subtle lung and airway noises. Still, its how you use it. My buddy is a vet cardiologist. He's used a pediatric scope for years and is so used to the sounds he can hear nuances I will miss with fancier scopes. Hope this helps.

Question:	can this scope be used as a spotting scope for bird watching
Answer:	Excellent for bird-watching. At 20x, it's fine. At 40x (long distance) you may want a strudier tripod, and because it's daylight, you can look through the smaller 42mm hole (take off the little cap) in the dust cap and that will improve the sharpness at high power. If you want a better spotting scope, simply buy a fancy wide-angle/high-performance 1.25 eyepiece (super-plossl, etc), around 15 mm focal length.
Question:	You say that any tripod that I use for photography should work. Does that mean that I can screw my tripod head into the telescope
Answer:	Yes. As others have said, the tripod that comes with the telescope is reallllly flimsy. There are a couple of screw holes on the bottom of the telescope. I was able to attache the telescope to my other tripod using the detachable head on the tripod.
Question:	I'm a real beginner/plan to purchase this for my son so we can both explore the night sky, etc. Is it really easy to setup?/How long will it take
Answer:	The scope is really good for beginners and it is easy to set up. As others have said the the included tripod is small for portability and not very stable. If used fully "retracted" on the hood of a car for example, it's OK. I've used it with a Celestron 7.5MM eyepiece and a 2x barlow lens and it can still resolve the rings of Saturn on a clear night. It's not designed for that kind of magnification but for an inexpensive scope with simple lenses I was impressed. I wouldn't recommend trying that though until you have some practice on focus, finding objects in the sky, and purchasing a heavy duty camera tripod. You must remember even with the highest power eyepieces, which you only want to consider using for viewing planets, objects are really small which is due to it's 400mm focal length. Overall it's WAY better than spending 40-50 dollars on a cheap toy at the local discount store. Another good option comparable to this is the Orion 76mm Fun Scope. It's really only for table top use but it's easy to swivel up/down left/right. It is a reflector though and images don't appear as crisp in my opinion. You'll find out that half the quality of a telescope is how good the tripod or mounting set up is. For the price you can't go wrong with this scope. I own several telescopes from computer driven to large reflectors and still grab this for quick views of Orions belt, Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, and star clusters like the double cluster and the Pleiades. Just to add to an already long answer, I added an inexpensive laser object finder (similar to the Celestron Star Finder) instead of the mostly useless viewfinder. It makes it ten times easier to point the scope at objects you're trying to look at and it doesn't take much modifications to get it screwed to the scope tube or stuck on with foam tape. Your son will thank you!

Answer:	Only if you look at objects on the left....use right eye for objects on the right side....if its straight above you , you can use both eyes.
