At 1000X magnification, you would need to immerse the light path in oil to prevent refraction of light causing blurring of the image. Answer:	I don’t believe it’s possible to get 1000x. I’ve used true compound microscopes. I have not managed to see things at the cellular level with this thing. I think it might get up to a moderate magnification and then count 2x digital zoom. I mean, you could put this on a tv screen so of course it might magnify 1000x in that sense, but you can’t get the sharp focus of a real microscope or see things not visible with a good hand lens.

Answer:	Yes, it is. You need 100x to see movement in general and 400x to see individual sperm. But, you will not be able to see great detail such as morphology, which required 6300x.

Answer:	Purchased May 2017: I made the mistake of assuming this had a camera with USB computer because of the product description. In my opinion it is very misleading. You're only getting a microscope, 1 extra eye piece, and an AC adapter. No other cables or slides included.

Question:	i ordered a near identical unit from another vendor, the sd card feature didn't function. does this one have the same issue
Answer:	SD card works okay with the one I purchased.
Question:	How long do you charge it for 1st time use? And, How do you know when it is fully charged
Answer:	I can't give a precise amount of time it took to charge it the first time, but it was several hours (I'd say overnight). There's a red light when it's charging and it goes off when it's fully charged. You can use it while it's charging though.
Question:	What is a TF card
Answer:	TransFLash card, also known as Micro SD card. like the one you put on your phone. it comes with one. its where the pics/video you take will be stored.
Question:	Does this unit take still photos
Answer:	Took me a while to figure this out. Here is how you take still photos: Turn it on, then press "D" and "OK" at the same time. You will observe the symbol on the left upper corner changed from video to photos. When you are ready to take pictures, just press the "OK" button. At the same time, the symbol changed when the picture is saved. Unfortunately, you have to do this EVERYTIME after you turn on the microscop. Somehow, the manufacturer thinks people by default will take videos.
