That said, a 7x25 "monocular" (Razor) vs a 10x42 "binocular" (Fury) really is no comparison view wise, especially in lower light settings. Also the number on the model indicates the max range capability, so the Fury HD 5000 can continue to measure up to 1000 yards beyond the Razor HD 4000's ability.

Adjust Eyecups & IPD

The IPD (interpupillary distance) is the distance between the centers of the left and right pupil. Your binocular also has an IPD. To see a single image free of shading, rotate your binocular until its IPD aligns with your eyes.

Focus Your Binocular

1. Start by closing your left eye or covering the left objective lens with your hand. Focus your right eye on the object and adjust the center focus wheel until the image is in focus. Leave the center focus in this position as you adjust the diopter.
2. Start by closing your right eye or covering the right objective lens with your hand. Look through your left eye, adjust the diopter so that the object is in focus.

From this point on, you will only need to use the center focus wheel.

Focus the Rangefinder Display

This process is similar to focusing the binocular.

1. Power up the binocular and close your left eye.

2. View the rangefinder display with your right eye.

3. Use the reticle focus adjustment ring to bring the display into sharp focus.

Answer:	Yes. It's an offset (so it doesn't block your view) Mil-Rad crosshair reticle that also has 3 torso silhouettes sized for different ranges. The reticle is very sharp.
Question:	What kinda pouch does it come with
Answer:	Mine came with a coyote brown Codura nylon pouch with a Velcro closure. I recall Molle web on reverse for attachment. The pouch is tight so it takes some manipulation to insert. Closure is secure enough and provides some protection but not from dust. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, it is just a regular scope. No night vision or thermal capabilities

Answer:	There is no perimeter blur and no distortion. I bought this version for the gas filled optics and not necessarily the mil for reticle , although it will be useful.

Answer:	Yes, it does contain a range finder. It is an optical rangefinder based on a graduated reticle. It is not an electronic rangefinder where you press a button and get a number. To use the Vortex R/T (Ranging/Tactical), you need to know the approximate height of the object. That info, combined with the built-in reticle will give you the distance. An internet image search will give you a picture of the reticle, and several sites have info on how to use it. As an example, if a human (2 meters tall) viewed through the scope was 3 hash marks high (milliradians) then the distance would be 2 meters X 1000 / 3 (hash marks) = 666.6 meters (give or take). As a side note, I really enjoy mine, goes with me often on hikes. Well built and compact.
