User questions & answers
Question: | What type of case comes with it |
Answer: | I found this about it. "The COOLSHOT 20i GII displays both slope-adjusted (play-as) distance and straight distance, so that you can select the right club and hit the ball with confidence. You can also easily turn the slope technology off to comply with USGA Local Rule 14-3 for tournament play." |
Question: | I assume that you can turn the slope reading off if need be |
Answer: | I would say China, as American made would cost so much more. The only thing that I have a problem with is the small size. I have big hands. Yardage is right there with any of the more expensive ones. |
Question: | Where is it made |
Answer: | My unit did not have a rechargeable battery. My battery lasts 4-5 months and I am playing 4-5 times per week. |
Question: | rechargable battery |
Answer: | No it does not. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How often does someone use the Slope Mode ? Is it really that crucial of a feature |
Answer: | No Bluetooth |
Question: | Does it find yardage to other objects? Water / Sand hazards |
Answer: | Mike, the Callaway 300 comes with a CR2 battery instead of a power cable. This battery is suppose to last for quite some time. I have only had it for a short period of time so I couldn't vouch for staying power of the battery. One thing I think I should mention is that I don't have a steady hand which makes it extremely hard to sight in on your target. It is very easy to use. Brian |
Question: | Where do you aim the target for m1 and m2 ....on the flag ,middle of flagpole or at the base near cup |
Answer: | Hi, it may just need a new battery, so try a new battery and if the issue still persists you can contact customer service at 888-606-4634 or email us at [email protected] to collect more information. Thanks. |
Question: | can you turn off the slope function in tournament play |
Answer: | If you press the button to shoot a distance just to turn the unit on and then do a press and hold on the M button for roughly 15 seconds that will switch the scale |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are the batteries rechargeable |
Answer: | This is your motherboard controlling the voltage to the fans based on a fan curve. As the temperature rises it will increase power and RPMs increase (but so do the lights). Go into BIOS and either turn off DC control or change your fan curve to always be at 100% (or maybe like 75% to reduce noise). This is a feature not a problem. More expensive PWM fans will have an extra pin and you can control the RPMs without changing the lights but these are only 3pin so they are controlled via DC or not at all. |
Question: | Does this have a Slope indicator mode |
Answer: | Yes |
