Answer:	What are the size of the object and how much detail do you need? 12x is about the most magnification I could see using without a tripod or something to mount it to. I was looking at deer 500+yrds out in November, and with 10x42 and I could just make out one fork horn buck in a group of 8-12 deer after a good bit of time, but the was some issues due to the sun in the back ground and the deer coming in and out of shadows.

Answer:	No you are not missing any hooks. The strap needs to be undone to weave into slots about 1 1/2" from each eyepiece on each side. It takes a bit of maneuvering and you need a firm leading edge on the strap to get it easily through the slots - so don't mess with leading edges on the strap too much before attaching. On one side I had to use a unwound paperclip wire to guide the edge through the slot. The other side was fairly easy to weave through first time. Also make sure you wave the eyepiece covers through the strap before mounting to the binoculars. You will see a thin slot in the rubber on one side. This will keep everything together when using in the field.

Answer:	All inexpensive binoculars will have some play, or backlash, in the focus wheel. If this is something that bothers you, you will need to purchase a much more expensive binocular. The "upper-level" stuff will have very little backlash, and the high-end products will usually have no play.

Answer:	The hold button is a slide switch on the underside of the cd player. In the hold position, it gives total control of the unit to the remote control buttons. This is handy if you accidently hit a button on the main unit.... it will not change the settings that you have on the remote.

Answer:	Field of view is fixed. These are not a zoom model. High quality optics. They do swivel to account for inter optic distance for various users.
Question:	How well do these work for the ballet
Answer:	It comes with a hard case and strap and a soft "sock" that adds further protection for the field glasses.
Question:	I was wondering if these can can used for looking at stars. I wanted binoculars with a wide field of view, but was worried that the fixed focus will render the stars too fuzzy to look at

Question:	How far can you see with these (i.e. 5 miles/10 miles
Answer:	You can see the Moon and Saturn, and stars. How far can you see a specific item with sufficient definition to identify it? Determine how far you can do so with the naked eye and multiply by the binocular's magnifivation, e.g., if you can identify a person in a crowd at 100 yards easily, you will be able to do so equally well at 1000 yards with a 10x binocular. A bird at 50 yards will appear through the binoculars as it was 5 yards away.
Question:	Does it come with a case and carry strap
Answer:	Yes it does. It is a soft case.
Question:	Do these work with eye glasses or do I need to remove my glasses to look through them
Answer:	Usually eye relief of 11mm or more works good for people with glasses. This one has 17mm eye relief. So this one should be okay. Again, this is theoretical and personal comfort needs to be taken into account.
Question:	What is the difference between 8x42 & 10x
Answer:	10x magnification versus 8x magnification. If you're bird-watching, hunting, etc., 10x is better. If you're watching a football game, needing low light capability, or genersl-purpose observation, e.g., standing watch on a ship 8x is better.
