Question:	Do the knobs regulate the stiffness? Do they truly lock a position? I mean: if I aimed my optics up towards zenith, could the knobs lock it in place

Answer:	Generally telephoto and zoom lenses going 200mm+ come with a ring that allows you to mount the lens to the tripod instead of using the camera's tripod mount. This allows you to better distribute and balance the weight of you camera/lens combination. (You REALLY don't want to put the weight of a long lens on just a camera's tripod mount.) Even with a tripod ring you may need to get a longer release plate to properly balance your camera/lens combo.
Question:	Will this head mount on the Manfrotto 290 tripod
Answer:	This head will take either 1/4" or 3/8" attachment screw, so yes it will work with the Manfrotto 290 Tripod.
Question:	Does anyone tried this gimbal with a 400mm 2.8 lens
Answer:	Both the other answers were regarding much smaller and lighter lenses that a 400 f/2.8. That said, as long as this head is made well, it will work just fine. I'm about to purchase one, not sure yet which brand. Will read more reviews. Not spending $600 for the Wimberley. There's three Benro models at 280-400... and another, the Movo, even cheaper than this one....

Answer:	Snaps on/off just fine. Pins are properly sprung, and the mount clicks in solidly. Little to no play, just like a native lens.

Answer:	Well I have a a7 w and with my experience not all third party extra work in auto mode... but personally I expect that so I no going n I most likely not have maybe auto focus or auto exposure but keep n mind when you are on a tripod and taking a macro... r u n a hurry ? Probably not so just use them as a tool to get your close up ... Question:	Is this a fluid filled gimbal head
Answer:	These are extension tubes that are placed between your lens and your a6000. Every lens has a minimum focus distance... for example, a lens might focus at 10 feet but at any distances less than 10 feet it will not focus. If you add this or both of these extension tubes between your lens and camera body, you will be able to focus at distances less than that minimum focus distance. The trade-off is that you lose the ability to focus at the other end of the focus distance... no infinity focus and no focus at longer distances. This is for close-ups of insects, leaves, flowers, etc, where you are at a working distance of only inches.

Answer:	I bought the "original type" over a year ago, when it was the only type they sold. It did not include a quick release plate at that time.
Question:	There are several variants of these from Neewer. Is this suitable for Tamron 150-600mm general and wild life photography or better for panoramic
Answer:	I bought mine for panoramic photography with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 in mind (small and compact). This setup is clearly designed for panoramic imagery. Could it work as a general tripod head? Most likely, but I would think this more cumbersome than a standard ball head. It has no way to level the base outside of the tripod itself. My concerns in your use case would be 2 fold. First, I'm not sure that this is designed to handle heavy glass as heavy as I believe the 150-600mm you indicated would be ( I know I wouldn't trust it ). Second, should you try and use this for panoramic images, I would be concerned about finding the nodal point. The arms for mounting may not be long enough to correctly position the nodal point with such a large lens. Hope this helps.
