I am 5' 3" tall and the the living space for the Bird comes just under my chin. I have a Moluccan Cockatoo,(Dunde), in a cage twice the size as this one and much more well built. ....don't get me wrong this is a nice cage but not sure it could withstand a Large Cockatto! My Blue & Gold Macaw ,(Jesse), is in an even larger cage than Dundee....but the main thing to me is the strength of the Cage for any Bird of that size. Hope this helps a bit ! Cassandra

Answer:	Yes, it’s big enough. I wish I had not bought the cage though. It’s not square and doesn’t line up right. Also, the doors are too easy for an intelligent parrot like a Macaw to open by itself and the parrot could be injured by getting its head out of the cage.
