You must check the diameter of the front of the lens, not the focal length....

Answer:	The size of the zoom doesn't matter. It is the diameter of the lens. There will be a number on the lens. They are usually on the front. Look for the diameter symbol. It will be a circle with a line through it. There will be numbers after it. like a 53 or 58 followed by mm. This is the lens diameter. The filter kit needs to be the same size as the lens diameter. The diameter number may also be on the lens cap usually inside. Hope this helps

Question:	will these fit on my 50 mm canon 50 mm lens
Answer:	I do not know for sure. I went into the sight and looked for mine specifying what I had and double checked the list that they fit before I bought them. They are fantastic to use.
Question:	Do you need an adapter for the lens itself? Does the filter just screw on to the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens
Answer:	I am able to stack filters and then attach the hoods.
