Answer:	While nothing is "completely safe" from a freak accident/coincidence happening nor foolproof to a sufficiently talented or motivated fool, I think we can say, "yes". The batteries are never in contact with the memory cards. Nor should they be somehow "discharging" via the fabric and impacting SD cards. If they are you have a more pressing, major problem with your batteries. The cards are in their own protective pockets, and have at least 2 layers of fabric between them and the pockets holding the battery. That should be more than enough cushion for incidental contacts. The only risk remote risk that I can imagine would be that somehow you take a physical blow to the pouch or crush it against a hard surface, and manage to crack the SD card shell against the battery. Even then, it would appear to require an intentional act, as everything would have to line up exactly right.
