Answer:	AJ, It all depends on what you are hauling, if you have loads that are really bulky and tall then the 5x8 would be ok but if your loads are lower than your bed then it might be to big or loose. I use this on my 6x10 trailer to hold loads that are 6 feet tall and about 4 feet wide cause they do stretch a lot, but they are adjustable( by unhooking the hooks and moving then inwards) hope this helps
