Answer:	Yes, it accepts both. The way the double ball adapter attaches is via a 1/4" x 20 bolt and there is a pre drilled and tapped 3/6" x 16 bolt hole on the other "arm" of the clamp. I went and bought a 3/8" x 16 x 12" threaded rod from Home Depot and used it on the open pre-drilled hole. It worked just fine. Photos to be uploaded showing this.

Answer:	Yes! I'm using on a C920 right now over a small work table for recording DIY videos. The C920 has a standard camera type thread hole on the bottom, you just need to unscrew the GoPro type adapter and this product has a 1/4" thread underneath.

Answer:	Yes, it attaches to the windshield, but I haven't found a way to attach it to the windshield and have your camera pointed OUT the windshield. I've found you can only attach it so the camera is pointed toward the interior of the car. If anyone knows how to set it up to point your camera out the windshield with 3 suction cups I would really appreciate it.
Question:	Is this good for a DSLR (5D or similar
Answer:	This mount holds my 5D Mkiii with a 24-105 lens no problem. the only problem I have had, is if you are mounting it to glass, and trying to shoot looking out of the same glass, the legs aren't long enough for that lens. You'll have to buy an extension.
Question:	How fast can you drive with one of these on your car with a camera attached
Answer:	I have driven 60 plus with it on. It hold super well but you have to make sure that both suction surface and paint/surface are free from dust and grime. You can attach it and tug hard and you will not get it off.
Question:	Can the ball joints be removed to eliminate the extension arm, so the camera can mount directly to the frame? Ideally this would eliminate shake
Answer:	Yes you can remove the ball joint where the extension was connected. The ball joint was screwed by the inner hexagon shape size T25 (Torx Hexagon Wrench).

Answer:	Every camera or camcorder I'm aware of has 1/4 inch threads to allow them to be mounted on a tripod or monopod and this is designed to screw into that hole on the bottom of cameras and camcorders. This is a lightweight unit and might not be suitable for use with a big heavy camcorder but if yours isn't one of the bigger ones it would likely work for you.
