Peak current of 13.8 amps is a lot, though. Might want to step up to 150w per supply just in case those caps aren't fat enough. Question:	how long is the cord
Answer:	There are 3 cords (a/c to adapter, adapter pig tail, and pigtail to battery) The power cord is 8-feet long and the adapter pigtail and battery cords are together 8-feet, so you have a total of 16 feet from the wall plug to the battery.
Question:	Will this work with and fit the standard Canon battery grip for the Canon 7D
Answer:	If the grip has a notch for the cable then it should work - I use it on the 5D (without the grip) and they both use the LP-E6N battery.
Question:	Why doesn't it work? this is the second such unit i have ordered and neither has worked. is there something i am doing wrong? (canon 70d
Answer:	Mine didn't work at first until I realized that the battery door has to be on the camera and closed.
Question:	On the Canon 80d, does a non-original accessory message appear when the accessory is connected
Answer:	Yes, it does. I own a 5D Mark II. The battery cable fits my camera and it should for you as well for you 80D. When you first plug it in, near the battery door should be a rubber peg/plug. Bend that out of the way so the power cord can enter into the camera. When you insert the power batter adapter, it will fit but the door may have a harder time closing it. It will close but you may need to wiggle the battery a bit and close the door a little bit harder than you normally would. Once when you have the door closed and the battery plugged in, as soon as you turn on the camera it will say the words (or something similar to this depending on your camera model), "Cannot Communicate With Battery. Use this Battery?" Use the aperture wheel to the right one click to make it say "yes" and press the center button of the wheel. Then the camera will work on continuous power. You will see on the LCD that there is no battery indicator. It will show what looks like a dead battery. This is normal because it is running on continuous power. You are essentially using a "dumb" battery because the camera can not relay any communication from the battery to the camera's CPU. This is why the camera shows a dead battery. It is not dead. As long as you have continuous power running, the camera will not die. I hope this helps you out on your question. Answer:	What you’ll do is plug this into an outlet, connect it to a camera, and then use a USB cable to connect the camera to your PC. You want a strong connection for powering the camera, you wouldn’t use your PC for that.
