| Answer: | It is optical, not electrical so I cannot see why it would be a problem. Obviously that means that it is a pipeline for a high intensity beam of low level laser light. But you must take great care not to bend it very much. A kink would likely render it inoperable. My suggestion for running cables of any kind these days is to run a backup cable, or place it in a conduit so that a replacement could be pulled through or a second cable could be added. |

If you're looking for something smaller and cost efficient than M-8DX will be better. The only sources of noise this hasn't resolved turned out to be a bad mic cable and when someone unplugged one of my devices from this and straight into a wall outlet. Any buzz or hum that I was getting with equipment was removed with this in place. It's been one of my best investments yet, especially for the cost, and I recommend it to everyone recording. |

| Answer: | Yes, it will work as the wattage size of the generator does not matter. You are just limited by the amount of wattage you plug into the Tripp Lite unit. For the LC1200 you should not exceed 1200 watts. Just add up the wattage of each item you plug into it and keep it under 1200 watts. If your item only displays amps then take that number and multiply it by the voltage which is 120v. Ohms law, amps x voltage = watts. |

It all depends on if you really need the sequence features or not. I have about (5) of both units in the field as we as many units in between. You should be well protected with either. Did your current unit take a hit? If not, keep it. If so, contact Furman as they may replace it for you. |
