Answer:	Physically yes. But be aware that doing so does not increase the total power available through that specific outlet. Building codes allow up to about 10 outlets on one circuit (I can only guess the code was written with folks prayed more often)... which typically has a 15 or 20 Amp breaker in your panel. So if all outlets are in use the amount of power available per outlet is about 1 or 2 amps. If you then plug two of these into that outlet you now have 6 receptacles supported by only that same 1-2 Amps or about 1/3 Amp each. If the room is a bedroom, then not much to worry, but if it is in your media room where you have lots of stuff plugged in, not going to work very well for you. For any area with a concentration of electrical consumption, I would recommend having one or two new circuits put in with each on a separate fulll size 20 Amp breakers, use 12-2 ROMEX with ground, and use the hospital grade receptacles (just look for the ones at the home store that are about $3 more than the cheap ones) and unbreakable nylon covers. That will achieve what you may be striving for and do it safely ...at a bit higher cost.

Answer:	It's just an extension cable... It doesn't determine charge speed in any way. It's not long enough to cause cable-loss issues. So yes, I use it for full 2.0 amp @5v charging.

In fact, I use this cable for data transfer only, but upon receiving your question, I decided to check this point, because it's really interesting question! :) Here is what I've got when tried to charge my Samsung Note 8 (~30% battery at the moment) using a) the direct cable (Anker 6ft USB C to USB 3.0 Cable) and b) the same Anker cable + this AmazonBasics extension cable: 1. When connected to original Samsung wall charger - 1 h 15 min (fast charging) in both cases. So, QC 3.0 spec. is supported. 2. Charging from the USB 3.0 port of my comp (it does not support QC 3.0) gave me a bit weird result - charging time with the direct Anker cable was ~2.5 hours, but when I added the AmazonBasics extension, it was displayed that charging time would be ~4.5 hours! But the second and the third attempts to check this, gave me the regular 2.5 hours... Have NO idea, why the first attempt doubled the charging time... Sort of "unsuccessful negotiations"... ;) This is why I've added "most likely" above.

Answer:	Appliances are rated in watts rather than amps. To see the amps, divide the wattage by 120 volts. Therefore your 1700 watt oven will draw 14.17 amps. According to American Wire Gauge table listed on wikipedia, a short extension cord with 18 gauge wire can handle 10 amps. Therefore, I'd advise an extension cord with 14 gauge wire or greater. Backwards from what you'd expect, the smaller the wire gauge number, the greater it's current capacity. Be advised that all plugs & jacks are friction points and you should monitor for any heat generated where cords join together. Bottom line, these short extension cords are designed for computer related devices with low current requirements and not designed for small appliances with heating elements.
