Answer:	I actually had to use tape to get the covers to stay on the 2 I used... I threw the other 3 in the trash...

Answer:	You push to turn on and push to turn off. I accidentally left mine on for a couple of hours and it became dim and I had to replace the batteries. This particular one probably isn't the best if you want the light on constantly or for long periods of time. It isn't motion activated.

Answer:	They meant cordless. There are no remotes, it is pressing on the light to turn it on.
Question:	has anyone tried to paint the outlet to match the wall? Curious how well the paint would adhere to the surface
Answer:	Over time, heat from the stove would degrade the adhesive. If you want the lights there permanently, I'd drill small holes through 2 edges of the the light, and secure it to the cabinet with screws. Either way you do it, you'll probably need to remove the lights when it's time to change the batteries. But it would be easy enough to remove the screws, change the batteries and then re-attach the lights. --These lights are bright, so you might only need one of them.

Answer:	MM is correct. Electrical code requires the 110/120Volt side of the box to be completely isolated from the low voltage side. A 2-gang box similar to the one pictured in the product's expanded description has to be used.

Answer:	Yes it will work with aluminum, but you never mix aluminum and copper. Together they could potentially start a fire

Answer:	You need a receptacle for the power side and you will need an insert for the TV side. The insert can vary depending on what you want to do. If you need a HDMI cable,, coax or sound look at the Arlington site and see what they offer.
Question:	Can you just buy the wall plate only
Answer:	There is no power cable and it does not plug into the wall, it is hard wired. You have to provide and run that yourself, or have an electrician do it. If you look at the picture of the kit you will see all that comes with it. It has a duplex receptacle and two different yokes/straps that you run your A/V cables through, depending on your needs. The recessed plate is a 2-gang plate and only one is needed.
Question:	Does this come in other colors
Answer:	Unless the walls are thicker than 1-1/2" it should work. The depth is adjustable from 1/4"-1-1/2".I've never tried any decora parts in the rectangular side as that's where the cable(s), such as coax, HDMI, etc come through. But since the cover plate is a standard duplex/decora combo, the docora parts should fit.

Answer:	The depth of this box is actually 4" deep. The face is 6" wide and 7" tall. Just measured it.

Answer:	Without knowing which one is "the copper wiring one", its hard to say. This one is recessed enough to allow a 2 wire cord/plug to clear wen most flat panel TV's backs are right next to that average plug with no problem. A heavy duty plug (3 wire) will still stick out a bit and may cause some clearance problems.

Answer:	Hi Kyle - It looks like you're wanting the depth of the receptacle to equal the length of the plug, which worked for me. I bought these receptacles to allow me to mount flat-panel TVs to walls. They work just fine for that purpose. The entire TV power plugs are inside the receptacle, however, the section between the plug and the normal part of the wire - somewhat of a step up reinforced connection - does not fit into the receptacle. This isn't an issue for my installation since I have sufficient room to accommodate some amount of fairly ridged cord outside of the receptacle.

Answer:	The hard PVC box does seem difficult to attach the plate. This can make you crank on the screw harder. I've installed a lot of these, luckily I've not broken a plate. I think it's just harder than normal and can cause you to break the cover plate

Answer:	This does not "hide" the electrical wiring. This sets your plugs about 2 inches into the wall allowing the electronic the ability to sit flush against the wall. For instance, I have this behind my 60 inch television hanging above my fireplace so that the television would be as close to the wall as physically possible.

Answer:	This isn’t the exact one I purchased but you need to have some form of output from your tv. If you don’t have a headphone jack you need to have an optical audio out port and an optical cable. I will also tell you that on my tv at least when I use the optical connection I have to turn off the TVs internal speakers so I only hear it on my Bluetooth ear buds. If I don’t turn off the internal speakers the sound comes through the tv and the earbuds. My tv is older so perhaps that’s not the case for newer ones but someone to keep in mind.

The large holes closer to the edge are clearance holes to allow the screws for Decora faceplates that thread into tapped holes in the strap to be tightened without bottoming against the metal box and staying loose. The 4 corner holes are used by some weatherproof in-use covers where the alignment is critical so the strap mounts to the cover and the cover mounts to the box at the 4 corners.

However, you can install the box in the 2x3 wall and build, (make) a frame/boarder of 1x3 around the box to fill I n the gap. This will also give a 3D effect to the box-unit, as it has a little boarder-frame around itself. The Arlington TVBU810-1 is a nice and attractive unit to give that professional touch.
