Answer:	I was having the same problem until I figured it out. When pulling it out, listen to the clicking, as soon as you first start hearing the clicking, STOP pulling and it stay in place. I also have an air hose from Northern Tool with a small compressor, it works the same way. This should be in the instructions in large print, unfortunately I didn’t see it printed anywhere. I would be curious if it works for you.

Question:	how does it work in the cold
Answer:	It got down to 23 degrees a week ago when we were in our RV. When we went to unplug the cord the ground prong broke off. I returned the item and purchased one that is was rated for -57 degrees from Tractor Supply. It worked fine until we unplugged it from shore power. I would spend the extra money and buy one that's rated for extreme weather.

Answer:	Probably a short cord.. It would be crowded if the cord was very long.

Answer:	The outlets rotate with the reel and it will twist any cords that are plugged in! I usually unreel the cord totally BEFORE I plug in other cords.
Question:	Does the middle area with the plugs move? Just wondered if anything is plugged in will have twisted wires
Answer:	The middle plug area does turn. Because of this you have to first extend the cord and then plug in your devices. It is really not a problem and I really like this quality item.

For your information, you can measure the distrance of hole on the bracket, drill hole to the target place, install the screws firstly, then hang the reel bracket in the screws in second, then done! Just a few minutes and no need to hold the whole heavy reel to install it.
Question:	How long is the lead in cord on the 65' 12awg? i'm talking about the cord that plugs into the wall
Answer:	I have already mounted mine to the ceiling of my garage. So I can’t measure it exactly. But I’d guess the cord is around 3 feet long. I’d probably make sure the receptacle you want to pug into is within 2 feet of the reel to give you some slack. I the reel wants to sway left or right depending on the direction you pull the cord. And so you need some slack or it could unplug itself.

Question:	Can this reel manage 20amps
Answer:	I am not an electrician, but it has handled several tools at one time. A compressor (3 gal), a skillsaw and a 1/2" drill. I know some of it will depend on the gauge of the extension cord you're using. I use 12/3 cord, and everything runs fine, but it is only 60'. To be sure and safe, check with an electrician.
Question:	Will use for extension cord for a weed whacker. How do you use the outlets on this
Answer:	You simply unwind as much power cord as needed and take reel as close to where you will the weed whacker. You plug in the weed whacker into the reel. There are 4 outlets on the reel.
Question:	Can you wind while plugged in
Answer:	You can unwind while plugged in to the wall but anything plugged into the receptacles on the side of the storage wheel would have to be unplug because they spin with the wheel.
Question:	Is this 15 amp or 20 amp
Answer:	The manufacturer obviously does not know anything about electricity. Probably not even in the US. The question is referring to the outlets on the side. Can it handle 15 or 20 amps? Which is independent from the extension cord.
