Answer:	Yes you can remove it, and use just the handles.

Answer:	I put mine at about a 20 degree angle; its fast enough with a good pull to put my kids (11&12) vertical at the end/brake. You can pull slower for younger children and it's not as fast.
Question:	Will this work if my trees are closer to 50 feet apart
Answer:	The cable is 90 feet long. If you are asking for the diameter of the cable, I don't know but can tell you that it can support a person weighing up to 125 lbs. It supports my two grandchildren very well. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The laser level works well but it wasn’t very user friendly when it came to attaching it to a surface. It doesn’t clamp down well. You have to find a way to stick or attach it on your own. The good thing is that you can see directly through the levels to see seams. I also have a Ryobi Air Laser Level that I love. It uses a suction mechanism and laser light (beam). It sticks to almost all flat surfaces. The bad? You cannot see through the level, but it allows you mark straight lines. My suggestion-If you need to see seams, get the Powersmith and use Velcro, command strips or a tripod. If you need to draw straight lines, go with Ryobi. Hope this helps.
