Answer:	I would not suggest using contact cleaner. I suggest using Plexus or a non ammonia based glass cleaner like what is marketed for being safe on windows having solar window film.

Answer:	NO! Never spray ANYTHING on a speaker, even when it's covered by a grille. This product is for cleaning metal electrical contacts... ONLY... (and it works well for that purpose). If you spilled something on the speaker, you can clean the grille by dampening a rag with 409 or a similar cleaner, being careful that it isn't wet enough for ANY liquid to get thru the grille. Liquids destroy speakers (by warping the cone)!
Question:	Will this unclog an AC drain pan hose
Answer:	This will work for this purpose, but save yourself some money. WD-40 works well for cleaning potentiometers and you don't run the risk of destroying plastic. Just don't use WD-40 or contact cleaner on linear/slide potentiometers. The chemicals dry up the lube and turns it into a glue. They will never be the same. I was a bench technician for many years and WD-40 is what we used most of the time.

Answer:	You need to get the tablet into the standing water inside the unit. Don't break up the tablet. It is intended to slowly dissolve and release a small amount over time to provide long term protection. Bleach provides a short term protection because the active agent dissipates quickly. There would be no purpose in putting the tablet in the drain pipe because the water coming out of the drain is on the way out. You need to get it into to the standing water inside that may provide a breeding pool for micro-organisms.

Answer:	Yes the tablets are definitely blue but the condensate discharge looks like clear water. I've never collected it in a glass to see if there is any coloration but the appearance is just water without color.

Answer:	It would be best to flush it well and try a tablet. The tablet is intended to provide a low level of chemical in the water to prevent bio-growth. Once established the growth may require more chemical to curtail than is released by the slow release tablet. In that case the unit would need to be fully cleaned and then use the tablet to maintain it and prevent the foul smell. I don't know your particular case, but I remember my son's A/C unit was so dirty that the air filter was completely blocked with debris as well as the inside.

Answer:	I do not use those tablets in a window A/C unit because like you said in your question, where do I put them. Those units have no drip pan that accumulates a lot of condensation, that condensation is released immediately to the outside. So, if the unit has a drip pan I would use them.

Answer:	per the manufacturer--is biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. i have not experienced any bleach odors. if there was it would not be applicable for the pump mechanisms that the water flows threw.

Answer:	I use the tablets for my 12’x12’ walk-in cooler and was told by my refrigeration tech to add one tablet to the back of the pan every 3-4 months for regular maintenance.

There's supposed to be a water level switch that shuts the unit off if the drain becomes plugged but mine recently failed and I had water dripping from a light fixture in the room below the unit. I am too old and stiff to crawl round the attic so I can't pur the tablets in the pan and I paid more than it would have cost to have a repair man come out a couple of times a year and do it for me.

A tablet like these will only be completely effective if placed in the drip pan itself. This usually requires removing the panel where you can access the coils. If you only place it in the drip line then it will just pass through quickly and any line before where the tablet is placed will not be kept clear. The drip line can even clog where the overflow shutoff valve should stop the AC from working (to prevent flooding) which will prevent the shutoff from doing its job and allow your ac condensation to backup and to overflow into the cabinet and anything below it.
