Answer:	Hi! My name is Sara and I am with Beyond Med Shop. Usually, it takes about 10 seconds after turning on the oximeter to get a reading. Please note though that when your blood perfusion level is low or when your hands are cold, the device may need more time to optimize and register an accurate reading. In this instance, we suggest that you warm your hands and fingers before taking the measurements. You can do this simply by rubbing your hands together. Remember your pulse oximeter is measuring your SpO2 and PR based on your blood flow. If the blood flow in your finger drops below a certain level, the pulse oximeter will not be able to function. Answer:	Yes I have and the heart rate is very close. I have several of these and COPD and this ones heart rate at least the one that I have is very good. On the cell phone app which is called Oximeter the oxygen sensor is way off like 5 points high which is critical and I was told that the cell phone oximeter was more designed for sports than for actual health problems! as an example a five point spread could cause major organ damage do to low oxygen!

Question:	Can this measure LED grow light
Answer:	Tl;dr is at the bottom because I have a lot of details. It can, but it is not recommended. Lux meters like this are designed to measure the intensity of visible light, which generally assumes you are measuring white light perceived by humans. What matters for plants (so what matters for your grow light) is Photosynthetic Active Radiation, PAR. PAR is a measurement of how many light particles, or photons, pass by a given point. This means that PAR will also get smaller the further you move from the light because it has dispersed more. Because PAR is much more difficult to measure than ambient light, it is much more expensive, generally in the $300-500 range. I would recommend either checking if your grow light has documentation on it's output in PAR, or contacting the manufacturer to ask. If they do not have this information, then follow their guidelines on how far to place the light relative to your plants. Tl;dr: Lux is not a good measurement for LED grow lights. See if you can find information about the light's output measured in PAR. Source: I designed an LED Grow Light and had to do all this research to figure out what to measure for it.

If you put a short 8 inch length of sewing thread in the lanyard loop and fold the thread so the thread ends meet, then you can easily get the thread through the hole and pull the thread until the lanyard Loop comes through. A: When taking a reading with the pulse oximeter, we usually suggest that you wait about 30 seconds for the readings to stabilize. Some people require a longer time for the pulse oximeter to optimize its sensitivity. Following that, please also ensure that you keep your hand still because any movement can cause the device to reset its' reading - hence the erratic readings that you see. Additionally, nail polish and false fingernails may also cause false readings. If possible, switch to an unpolished nail or consider another application site.

How does the Plethysmograph and PI help?

Answer:	I have Raynaud’s. I am 60 yr old female recovering from Covid19. You will need to warm your hands up. This is true if you were in the best hospital. Run them under warm water and dry them before getting a read. Also, this will not work with acrylic nails. You will have to either put your finger in upside down or you can use your toe. Raynauds will make your toes cold too, so heat them up a little bit. Wear socks for a bit and then use the device. I did this both ways and got identical results. It works perfect.
